You missed sith sorcerers who were like the sith inquisitors but on steroids. They studied different and esoteric force powers (like force drain, force heal and sith magic) and preferred to dominate everything on the battlefield using mostly the force. Also, I think its important to mention that during the old republic the main two paths of sith, warrior and inquisitor branched into the other classes with the former becoming juggernauts and marauders while the latter specialising into assassins and sorcerers. This directly mirrored jedi specialisations.

Fun fact: not all Siths used the title of Darth, or should I say, not at all times. Before Darth Bane, during the times of the Brotherhood of Darkness Siths were basically not permitted to use this title due to the decision of the Brotherhood leader - Lord Kaan, who thought a Sith using this title would cause unrest and make that person seem more independent and in general stronger and better.

To add on, Dark Lords always existed. They were the grandmasters of their order and empires. From the very first, Ajunta Pall, to all the others like Ragnos, Sadow, Kun, Vitiate, Revan, Bane, Sidious, Krayt, Dark Councilors, and various others over the Sith's 5K+ year existence.

to be fair, vitiate wasnt really a dark lord, he never held the title of darth yet he became the most power sith in history.

@@Valkyraw I think he did hold the title by default from being an emperor of the Sith, but also know historians in universe called him as "Darth Vitiate". Also, keep in mind, not every Dark Lord was a Darth, nor was every Darth a Dark Lord.

So.... Do I understand correctly? Sith apprentice - Jedi Padawan, but after Bane, a direct succesor of the strongest Sith was also his "apprentice" like Vader to Palpatine or Dooku to Palpatine. A normal Sith apprentice could be trained to be a Warrior or Assasin, depending on... the needs? Sith Assasin - better than the Jedi padawan, worse than Jedi knight Sith warrior/marauder - like a Jedi knight Sith lord - like a Jedi master And then high lords for the council, grand lords for leading, emperor for ruling etc etc Also from a Warrior up they would have specialisations like the jedi guardians, counselors and sentinels But if we include the rule of two which ones get erased? Looks like Sith Assasins are still ok (Palpatine had many of them, + inquisitors were actually assasins) Obviously there could only be 2 sith lords (like a jedi master and a grandmaster) But how about the Sith Warriors/Marauders?

In my own head cannon I see the Rule of Two Sith Lords basically leaning towards warriors or assassins based on the needs of the current master and their own natural leanings. Mother Talzin calls Darth Maul a Sith Warrior but in the Darth Plagueis novel, Sidious calls him a Sith Assassin. I see Darth Bane as more of a Sith Warrior than an assassin or sorcerer, while his apprentice Darth Zannah could be seen as a Sith Sorceress due to her natural affinity for dark side sorcery. Darth Sidious would be a Sith Assassin, simply because of him infiltrating the galactic government and being able to stand around powerful Jedi Masters undetected, literally hiding in plain sight.

Oddly that the order that I know for the sith (from the Old Repoblic Games) is like this: 1) Acolyte (a human or alien who is indocted to sith academies where they are tested & train to see if their worthy to be paired with their Lord or Darth Master) 2) Sith Apprentice 3) Lord 4) Darth That's what I feel being the order of rank position for the sith, but maybe after banes rule of two the Darh became the main title

"Sith Hopeful"... Yeah, in both the game dialog, and my own headcannon... my Sith Pureblood was a prisoner/slave and sort of forced to apprentice in the order. Fun dialog options later and I may have "worked" for them, (because quests and all) but definitely didn't own me. I was glad when I got to set those ones straight later in the storyline. (Betray me once, shame on me... Betray me twice? Goodnight...)

Potential doesnt mean you are stronger than someone else, it just means you have the Potential to become stronger. Talent does help you in achieving power, but only through studying do you really become powerful and knowledgeable.

Rule of 2 was stupid. It made them more cunning and secretive but it didn’t do anything to increase Sith proficiency in the force. Doesn’t factor in old age (Vectivus), idiots who would burn everything down (Gravid) or even that the variation in Sith techniques was just so broad and impossible for a single person to learn that inevitably one technique would be more potent against another in the same way as rock paper scissors (arguably Zannah). The Sith succeeded because the Jedi atrophied after a thousand years without a direct challenge, not because there was a continuous line of increasingly powerful Sith Lords. And Bane was the least Sith like of all Sith because he actively wanted to be challenged and surpassed. Sidious was amazingly powerful but he would have gone far as a sith even if Bane didn’t create the rule.

would say the explaination as to the ro2 system shows how flawed it was and it didn't fix much if any of the major flaws of some other incarnations of the sith in fact made it worse overall along with various other issues would say top down the order of rank is something like im thinking true sithari as in someone who is nearly a true god or even surpasses some as well as being not only powerful but has achieved nearly everything any sith wants to achieve such as forming a golden age for them so two of the most worthy of the title would likely be sithari king adas the original holder of the title and marka ragnos emperors/lord of the sith those with the power and skill to rule over most other sith vitiate and most other ancient emperors. dark council or similar ranks. typically the ranks just below emperor such as head of military roles, large system rulers etc false sithari. those who claim the title to try and make use of the influence some of holders held but often didn't genuinely be worth of the title which also includes those who believed in that particular prophecy of the sithari so bane would fall under this category given not only do they not have certain feats but they are also traitors to the sith and in banes case their wasn't many true sith left just dabblers and dark jedi. part of me would also somewhat put vitate under this category given he had god like powers but he was also a traitor of the sith. darth we do have a origin for it darth andedu was the first to hold the title. also darth/lord was like least in the civilization something a kin to some rank of noble or high ranking military title with title being of higher rank then just a lord typically. some ranks of lord also could be higher or lower then some other ranks. battlelords and blade masters. likely may have also fallen somewhere in this area usual. kissai. they were the priest classes of the sith and also often would've been also in other roles such as scholars of the force or alchemists, many assassins, masters, inquisitor etc though they were also a distinct sub species of the true sith as well. sith master. would say are those who specialized in training other sith sith blade master also likely been a higher tier of this role. sith assassin often higher ranking servants of other more high ranking sith. alchemists depending on skill and other ranks also likely higher, the zuguruk sub species likely would've commonly had skill in alchemy as well given innate talent with tech and the force and often in their role of their were the crafters of their civilization sith warrior military portion of the sith order with various rankings such as knight and marauder, juggernaught, masterblade,. massassi. the warriors and just above slaves in the ancient sith civilization also given their role in their military some may have been of actual high rank despite the otherwise low position in their culture acolyte in training or partly trained hopeful is maybe force sensitive but untrained sith minion

To satiate both sides (EU and Canon), it's kind of become a mix of both. In the universe, both names are used. To Sith believers, the name is Korriban. However, to the Jedi and Republic, the most used name is Moraband. As the Sith faded, Moraband became the most common name for the planet.

That's just an out of universe thing for canon. It still is Korriban in Legends. By the time of TCW, Moraband was just an era appropriate name. Just like how names for places on Earth change over time.
