I have a studio just like that. Same speakers, same headphones. Keyboards, midi devices, guitars, bass guitar, electric drums.. Although, I don't have the array of percussive instruments. I have all the gear, am a musician and every single note that has gone on my songs has been created via the piano roll 😆

i remember wathcing the video of you setting up the space for the first time, and thinking wow owning a studio space would be a dream, glad to say i just resigned the lease on my studio for the 3rd year in a row. Big ups

What I found most interesting is that at no point did you mention decorative pieces to make the studio beautiful or appear more chic/expensive. But your equipment is amazing. I only mentioned this because I've seen a lot of tours where appearance was always very important, instead of how good it is to make music.

The question is what do u have? Personall, I only have a pc and a pair of decent heapdhones, until I get some money flowing. What I would look at are audio interfaces, headphones, obviously a decent pc, some keys, some speakers, the room pads and a nice mic.

@@adamrozek5782 Well, I have a home recording set up that's just a clarett+ 4pre, mic and monitors. But I have a office space about 30 minutes away that I'm converting into a studio. and I alwyas enjoyed seeing Simon's videos, and the amount of stuff he has doesn't seem overwhelming like I usually see in usual home-studios. My office space has an interface, studio monitors, arturia 88 key, and a neumann mic. Nothing crazy either. It's just nice knowing I don't NEED to have all these boards and racks.
