haha, I bought the Monami Plus Pen 3000 after watching your review video. I tested them all out and then put them away and haven't pulled them out since. My local Y has an "angel tree" to provide Christmas gifts to youth in need, and there are a few requests for art supplies. I've already fulfilled "angels" but I think I might pull a third one for art supplies and give someone else some joy with the Monami pack, along with some other artsy things. The Tombow are my favourite small brush pens, followed by the Pentel. :)

Yes exactly! Just because they’re someone’s favorite, doesn’t mean they’re going to work for everyone. I love the angel tree idea! Someone will love getting that whole pack of Monami pens!!

That’s very nice of you. Pentel and Monami are my absolute favourite! I also have Tombows which I like but do not use. Then I have a few sets of felt tip pens which I bought in error - thinking they were brushpens!! That was at the beginning!!! 😂 looking forward to your next video 👍

The Tombows are so good and they’re some peoples favorite! But just because they’re someone else’s favorite, doesn’t mean they’re gonna work with everyone’s style. I’m glad you’re excited about seeing more of my pens! I’m in the middle of editing the large brush pen video and it’s a lot! After that it will be fine tip pens, I wonder if any of them are the felt tip pens you got on accident!

Thank you so much Sarah! Having plenty of brush pens makes it tougher to choose the ones to letter. Appreciate your perspectives! Enjoy using ecoline and Kuretake brush pens. Tombow are straightforward to use.

I agree 110%!! With a lot of my stuff!! I have tons of stickers I know I won’t use but it kills me just to give to my 6 year old…. She has already gotten a lot of my decluttering washi tape. I have probably separated at least 100 rolls of washi that I know I’ll never use. All the rolls from Michael’s, etc. I won’t use because I have too many other ones to choose from and I have a hard enough time to choose which to use. I know I have way too many small brush pens because I went through a thing where I bought every small brush pen I heard about. It’s bad. Don’t even get me started on paper since I started with scrapbooking 🙈 I have donated to the schools though. I would love an Ensign group where we could grant wishes or something to other members. I was also getting the archer and olive sub box so I know I have too many journals 🙈

Thank you so much Kirsten! I got that paper from a clearance table at Joann’s years ago… and I never used it because I was waiting for something “special”. But now, like i said, my goal is to use it up or give it a new life!

Most people recommend small brush for beginners because you have more control but I has one teacher that suggested large I was shocked!!

I have to say as I watched this I was so embarrassed. 🙈 I’m so bad with scrapbooking, stamping, planning, stickers, washi tape, etc. basically all things stationery. I do separate certain things that I would be ok parting with like all my hobonichi sticker kits, all the washi from Michael’s or the happy planner, etc. but it kills me when I don’t have someone to give to who would appreciate the things like I do. I have a big huge thirty one brand tote filled with brush pen sets and a couple huge pen cases 🙈 I actually love the pentel too but I think the Kelly creates small brush pens are my favorites. I also have her dream pens and all the lepen flex’s. I have all the archer and olive sets, the stained pens, the mildliner brush pens,the koi pens, artstix …. Literally if I read a good review on amazon or online I feel like that must be what I need to make my lettering look good, mind you the most embarrassing part is I still haven’t even lettered my own word!! 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️ I know I usually only use purple or black but if I’m buying a set I feel the need to have the biggest set with all the colors. You don’t know how bad I wish I could just say “I’m cutting out half until I actually start lettering on my own, not just tracing stuff but I have a problem letting go of stuff. It’s so bad. Good for you

I normally lift my pen but I think sometimes with a short word like hello I don’t. And it’s a stylistic thing too! It can give a slightly different look!

I’m so glad you love those ones! I did have them but I decluttered them a while ago. The brush tip is amazing, but the colors weren’t just right for me!
