Guys, I made a fanmade story for VS Gorefield that connects the weeks (I should clarify that I didn't include Cryingfield here because it seems unnecessary, and I'd move it to a Freeplay song instead). (WARNING, LOTS OF TEXT) WEEK 1 (Garfield Gamboy'd): It would be the typical story we all know from the original animation, but here, there’s a justification for why Boyfriend ended up at Jon's house. Boyfriend, upon hearing the news of a giant mutant cat caused by the government, decides to head over there to snoop around and challenge it to a rap battle (because he's dumb). Here, Curious Cat wouldn't exist, and instead, we'd jump directly to Metamorphosis after The Great Punishment. In the intro, Gorefield would appear in his fake form to lure Boyfriend in, but during the intense part of the song, he transforms. Afterward, Gorefield tries to attack the group, but Jon shoots him in the eye, momentarily restraining him and allowing Jon and Boyfriend to escape to the basement. Jon lights a match, and surprise! Gorefield is already there, now in his orange basement form from the original animation (the one with the "Jon, what are you doing?" line). This leads to Hi Jon, where Gorefield would have this design. At one point, Gorefield eats Jon's arm, as in the original animation, and instead of blowing up the house with a button, Jon uses the match and gasoline in a desperate attempt to kill the cat. Afterward, in the next part of the song, Gorefield rises from the ground and becomes giant. It would be great if the perspective matched the original animation, angled diagonally. Then, another cinematic occurs: the city explodes, but Gorefield survives because he has Jon inside him. He takes Boyfriend as well to eat later, leading to Terror in the Heights. At the end of the song, Lyman appears and kills Gorefield with a kamehameha, also killing Jon and freeing Boyfriend. Among Gorefield's remains, a lasagna lands near Boyfriend as he continues falling. Boyfriend is about to die when suddenly, a portal opens beneath him. Boyfriend and the lasagna fall into it. Inside, he meets Godfield, who explains that there's a multiversal monster intending to destroy the Garfieldverse. He recruited Boyfriend because of his pure heart, making him the only one capable of stopping this creature. Godfield cannot interfere directly due to the Garfieldverse rules. Godfield explains that to defeat the monster, they need the power of the Three Power Lasagnas, which come from the organic matter of the most powerful Gorefields in the Garfieldverse. The lasagna that fell through the portal is one of them. Boyfriend accepts the mission and is sent to the Lasagna Boy universe to retrieve the second Power Lasagna. --- WEEK 2 (Lasagna Boy): Here, it’s the usual story. Boyfriend meets Lasagna Boy and explains the situation with the multiversal monster through a rap battle. Lasagna Boy isn’t thrilled about the idea because of the monsters lurking in the hallways, but he agrees since they’re supposedly safe-or so he thinks. This leads to Fast Delivery, where the usual events occur. After the song and surviving the first encounter with Mr. Whiskers, they move to the next floor via elevator. There, Lasagna Boy begins to understand Boyfriend’s story, though he’s scared. He suggests setting a trap to kill Mr. Whiskers. They reach the second floor, leading to Health Inspection, where Mr. Whiskers would have a different chromatic scale to differentiate him from Gorefield-perhaps a higher-pitched one. At the end of the song, instead of leaving, Mr. Whiskers starts chasing them. During the chase, Lasagna Boy rushes ahead to set the trap and asks Boyfriend to distract Mr. Whiskers. This leads to the third song, which I’ve named Monsters and Hallways, featuring not only Mr. Whiskers but also the one-eyed alien from the original game (seen on the second floor). The song would include window mechanics and typical climactic features. At one point, they would encounter the giant monster from the original game in the lab. In another cinematic, Mr. Whiskers falls into a dynamite trap and explodes, leaving behind the second Power Lasagna. With their mission complete, another portal opens. After bidding farewell to Lasagna Boy, Boyfriend enters the portal. Godfield sends him to another dimension to find the third and final Power Lasagna, this time in the Bad Monday Simulator universe. --- WEEK 3 (Bad Monday Simulator): Boyfriend arrives in this universe's Snowdin and meets Sansfield (in this version, Sansfield would retain his original design from Lumpy Touch, with an orange jacket). Sansfield greets Boyfriend with a classic Undertale reference (the whoopee cushion handshake). Boyfriend asks Sansfield for a rap battle, and Sansfield agrees out of laziness. This leads to Cat Patella. Afterward, Sansfield asks why Boyfriend is here, but before Boyfriend can explain, this universe's Nermal (essentially the Chara of this AU) shows up, maniacally wanting to fight Sansfield. Sansfield notices Nermal and starts battling him, leading to Mondaylovania (better executed this time). In this song, players control Nermal instead of Boyfriend. Eventually, Sansfield falls asleep, and Nermal tries to kill him, only to be interrupted by Sansfield’s alarm clock, waking him up and transforming him into Ultra Field. In this form, Ultra Field attacks both Boyfriend and Nermal in a fit of rage, leading to an original third song akin to Roses and Quartz. Players alternate between Boyfriend and Nermal, with mechanics from Mondaylovania and Gaster Pookies. At the end, Ultra Field kills Nermal but calms down afterward. Disoriented, Sansfield asks what happened, and Boyfriend explains. Boyfriend tells Sansfield about the multiversal monster and the Power Lasagnas, prompting Sansfield to give him the third lasagna (retrieved from a Gaster Pookie’s mouth). Boyfriend bids farewell as another portal takes him away. --- FINAL WEEK (The Multiversal Monster): Inside the portal, Boyfriend finds not Godfield but a strange being with gray eyes. The entity imitates Godfield’s voice, asking Boyfriend for the Power Lasagnas. Boyfriend hesitates due to the being’s eye color but ultimately hands them over. The entity reveals its true identity as Ultra Gorefield, the original Gorefield and the multiversal monster Godfield warned about. Ultra Gorefield mocks Boyfriend for falling into his trap and declares his plan to use the Power Lasagnas to absorb the other Gorefields' powers, revive them, and conquer the Garfieldverse. Boyfriend challenges Ultra Gorefield to a rap battle, and the villain, confident of his victory, accepts. The song resembles Cataclysm, with Ultra Gorefield as the main antagonist. In the first section, he shifts from his The Complement form to his Roses and Quartz form. Subsequent sections feature Gorefield and Mr. Whiskers in their respective song phases, each with unique chromatic scales. Just as Boyfriend is about to be defeated, another portal saves him. Inside are Sansfield, Lyman (from Week 1), Lasagna Boy, and Godfield. Godfield explains he gathered everyone to have a chance against Ultra Gorefield since they each defeated a Gorefield in their universes. Godfield grants Boyfriend a wish to level the playing field. The final section features a divine power-up for Boyfriend, Sansfield, Lasagna Boy, and Lyman, each gaining glowing yellow-gray eyes. They face off against the fused Ultra Gorefield in an epic final battle. In the end, they defeat Ultra Gorefield with their combined divine power, restoring peace to the Garfieldverse. All the heroes live happily ever after-except for Nermal, who, after being killed by Sansfield, is sent to purgatory with the Horoscope Gorefields from Lumpy Touch’s animation (serving as a Freeplay song).

I don't blame you for what you did when it came to ranking these. Especially with Nocturnal Meow and a few of the other lower ones like Mondaylovania and Ultrafield. Imma be honest, I also didn't like Nocturnal Meow, and somehow, I predicted that that song was going to be near or at the bottom of your rankings. As for the 2 other Sansfield songs, I guess the other chromatic for him in Mondaylovania does need some work. But I LOVE that The Great Punishment is your favorite song! Honestly, I thought I was INSANE when I picked that as my personal favorite too. But I'm glad to see that someone else loves this song as much as I do. And let me say some other stuff too. Terror in the Heights is a song that's grown on me too, but mostly because I've played and listened to it more than BIGotes(btw pronounced Bee-Go-tes). And I'm gonna be real here, I thought that BIGotes would rank higher than Terror in the Heights, but I'm glad you decided to go with this. Also, the speech you did for CaTaclysm was a speech that really made me think. So many upcoming and already made FNF mods have so much potential for GRAND fnf finale songs, but some of them just waste every opportunity that they get to make it SO good, which is a real shame. And for Cat Patella, I'm glad that you ranked it as high as you did(GO PATELLA GANG GO GO GO!!) but I have a problem with your critique of the duet thing because, WHY DO YOU THINK IT SUCKS?!?! 1:08:20 Disbelief Papyrus is basically: Sans fights the human in Snowdin and loses, Papyrus watches him and his friends d!e and now HE fights the human in the judgement hall while switching between trying to redeem the human and trying to destory him. Also Sans and Undyne show up for phase 3 out of 4 as memories or something and it’s revealed Papyrus can summon Gaster Blasters and orange bones. This is one of those AU’s that the fandom gave too many phases, like Last Breath.

I don’t know if I’m the first to comment and explain this but whatever. The reason week 1 ends on Bigotes is basically in the original gorefield series it started with him put in an insane asylum for knowing everything was going to happen ahead of time and was seen as clinically insane so after the explosion and the flying head causes everything to go up in flames Lyman escapes the asylum and filled with sadness that he could save anyone, he became the form seen in the song wanting to take revenge for his fallen friends. Also you made solid points on the song like that song in my opinion starts out so strong but it just drags on and on by the end, had it been 2-3 minutes it probably could’ve been in my top 3

Alright so after listening to the OST, and watching this a few more times, it kinda motivated me to give my full, honest opinion on Gorefield as a mod, so without further ado, let's do it: So i'm just gonna say it right now, i REALLY wanted to like this mod, because first of all, it's mainly based off of Lumpy Touch's work, and there's so much potential for a Lumpy Touch centered mod, seeing how their content is very... creative to say the least, also cuz i really like Lumpy Touch's videos, and secondly, there's so much passion here, i can tell that the team payed a lot of attention when it comes to many of the references, like the title screen going from regular Garfield to Gorefield, Jon showing up in Cat Patella and referencing a line from the original Bad Monday Simulator, the beginning of Hi Jon referencing one of the songs from the original Garfield Gameboy'd, and Arlene being trapped in the basement just like she was in Garfield Gameboy'd, it's all really cool, and i applaud the devs for caring about the source material this much, but after listening to the OST... look i'm sorry but i do NOT like this OST, it's not abysmal or anything, but it's a lot more negative than it is positive for me, it's a shame too cuz there's so many things to praise in this mod, like the art, the references that i mentioned earlier and the codes, but most of the OST fell short to me, i think the main problem with a lot of the songs are that the chromatics aren't usally great, and that many songs feel very boring, for the chromatics, honestly the only real stand out here is Jon, who's chromatic is actually very good, but then there's the others, some are too quiet like Godfield and Arlene, some are too loud like Nermal, some are just really meh like both chromatics in Breaking Cat, and then, there's Gorefield himself, ok so the chromatic itself is pretty good, but the main problem is the constant re-use of it, the worst example of it being Cryfield, at least with Omegafield that's actually Gorefield, and you could argue that Mr. Whiskers is very similar to Gorefield so it's fine, i personally don't agree but alright, but Cryfield is a COMPLETELY different character from Gorefield, so why do they re-use Gorefield's chromatic? Of course there's Nocturnal Meow where it's literally just Gorefield's chromatic again, but even in Cryfield, you can still faintly hear the re-used chromatic, and i don't get it, i feel like the constant re-use of the chromatic makes it lose that appeal it could've had, and i'll be honest, that's what happened to me, i was genuinely kinda angry when i heard Nocturnal Meow for the first time because i was just getting sick of this chromatic, and overall, i think the chromatics definitely needed some work, and then there's the songs being boring, i think the main factors for this are; 1: forgettable melodies and 2: the song dragging on for too long, many of the songs don't have a lot of melodies that stuck into my head, and that's not a very good thing, as it not only makes the listening experience feel boring, but it also adds on into the second point, a lot of songs drag on, whether it be moments that overstay their welcome like Sansfield's section in CATaclysm, songs feeling too long and not using their time well like BIGotes, or just filler like Curious Cat's big dramatic pause, and unfortunately most of the songs suffer from one of these problems, and i think with all of this, it made this OST not the most fun to return to, i remembered how most of the songs went more, but it was not the most fun thing ever, however because i don't want to feel like i'm just mean to this OST for no reason, there is some stuff to complement, firstly, the fact that most of the songs were made by just one guy ( Bitfox ) is EXTREMELY impressive and i think that he definitely has the potential to become an even better composer in the future, the instrumentals are for the most part, great! I specifically want to mention the CATaclysm rant, because while it wasn't perfect, like saying that Nermal was included out of nowhere, as i'm pretty sure the Cat Patella cutscene shows Nermal going through a portal, and i'm guessing that song's cutscene, and the CATaclysm cutscene are connected, but even with that, the latter half was honestly really unexpected, and i think your explainations were very intresting, and for that i'd like to say good job, anyways that's all i wanted to say, looking foward to Cartoon Cat V2!

The only one I have a problem with is Roses and Quartz (ranking wise). The reason why some people love it so much is because we've had it for 2 years up to now. It got released early by the composer back in 2022 and it was amazing. And personally it's still amazing, with all the high notes I end up forgetting that the chromatic is the same gorefield chromatic used everywhere. Back then it was just in 2 songs and then RaQ. Other than that all the things you said made me agree even Cataclysm. It's a ranking that I almost completely agreed with. This ost would be a lot better if the gorefield chromatic wasn't used for everyone.

43:20-51:07 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 An absolutely amazing speech worthy of an Oscar. I'm not even a big fan of CATaclysm, and I almost (metaphorically) burst into tears, even if my face didn't look like it. This speech goes to show the power of "climax" songs. Followed, All Stars, Triple Trouble. All amazing songs! But Cataclysm... nah, it uses its length as a disadvantage, making it tey that it's more than it is. I'd say it's because the Gorefields use the same chromatics, and that the Phase 2 chrom for Godfield sounded too weird. And maybe also because it doesn't sound like a celebration of the mod, more like a recap. (Also this isn't spam btw, I just really wanna discuss. This is my thurd comment on this vid after all. Besides, everyone else loves the speech.)

The best way I can explain this to you is by telling you what I think Neo is trying to say: If you go into Cataclysm without caring about what it represents or about other long songs, it’s just a mediocre finale song. If you go into Cataclysm caring about other long songs, you’re gonna be disappointed because this song feels like it copies certain aspects of long songs without knowing what made those aspects great in the first place. If you go into Cataclysm caring about what it represents, it is not good. It throws Godfield in the mod for no reason and with no build-up even though they could’ve picked something like The Forgiveness of Jon as the finale which would’ve made much more narrative sense, it ends with Nermal which just doesn’t make sense because she only appeared in Week 5 and overall it tries to be a song that “wraps up it’s story” but there is no story to wrap up. And if it tries to celebrate the mod (which I don’t resent), it fails too because it lacks the other two characters who were in the story mode, making the song feel incomplete. THAT is why Cataclysm fails on so many levels for people.

Alright, so I finally have free time to write the video review I wanted to do ever since my previous comment. I'm gonna go through each segment, give my thoughts on your opinions on every song, give my own opinions on how I feel about the song, and then give a rank at the very end (From E, as in 'really bad', to S, 'magnificent'). I'm also gonna make a personal ranking on the songs, and... well I guess we're gonna see how different mine is from yours. So here we go: 21: This was the most surprising part of the video. I did not expect you to despise Nocturnal meow that much. This is actually my first time hearing or seeing that someone thinks that this song is the worst in the entire soundtrack. Before I get to how I feel about this song, I have to address my take on everything you hated on this song. Nermal's chromatic here is not nearly as annoying for me as for you. I think it's a pretty decent chromatic, but not great. I can see why it would be annoying, as it sounds 'whiny', if you know what I mean. As for the next issue, I get why reusing chromatic is lazy and can get annoying, but once again, it's not really a big issue on my part. So monster Cryfield gets a pass for me, but I do think that the composers could've used variations for each iteration of the Gorefields. I'm not sure what you mean that there are no melodies in this song. I can definitely hear some, especially at the middle part. Finally, I listened to the instrumental, and it doesn't really suck that much. It honestly complements the athmosphere of the visuals. So all in all, this song is good enough, that I have it downloaded on my phone. (B tier) I'm gonna try to make each segment short, so that the comment won't be super long. 20: See I thought that this would be at the very last. For me, it definitely is. I really don't like both chromatics, and I think that the structuring of the song is bad. It sounds so repetitive and pretty much nothing, that it just makes me sleepy. So I do agree with pretty much everything you said, but I think the gameboy style is pretty cool. (E tier) 19: Alright, so funny part is that I enjoy both Mondaylovania and Ultra-field more than Cat Patella. I have no good reason besides that I find Cat Patella boring, but I'm gonna get to that later. Now about Mondaylovania. First things first, I'm the type who likes a 'Friday Night Funkin-fied song', and while I also think that it's lazy to put vocals over an existing instrumental, I'm still gonna enjoy it to an extent. And this song is... pretty decent. However, I also think that the chromatic is boring, and that they should've used the one in Cat Patella. The reasons why I like this is because of the vibe (although I guess I should just listen to og Mondaylovania then), I think that Boyfriend sounds quite good here, and of course, the guitar part. (B-tier) 18: Same things go to Ultra-field, although I like this one way more, because I think Ultra-field's chromatic sounds way better. Also, I love the rave part (which was not in the original music), so bonus points. (A-tier) 17: I agree with everything you said about Cryfield. It's a pretty forgetable song, although maybe that comes from the fact that it's supposed to sound melancholic... but then again, stuff like Alone, Hollow, and Nerves are sad songs done right. (D-tier) 16: Curious cat is also a song that I mostly agree with everything you mentioned about it. Except for the part where you said that the original was better, than v2. Yeah, I'm one of those people who say that the remake is better, and it's because I like the bouncy vibe. The original sounded too repititive imo. (C-tier) 15: I've seen many people complaining about how off the vocals are in Roses and Quartz, and as I listened to it, I definitely understand what they mean... but despite that, I'm one of those people who finds this song one of the best in the mod. I love this song, despite it's flaws, and even though it's supposedly ripped from Steven Universe, I really like the final boss tone that it gives. After hearing about the part, where you said that the instrumental sounds 8-bit, I was actually really curious, because I never listened to the instrumental on it's own, but after actually listening to it, I was surprised that it sounds like a Rayman music. Still I don't find it bad, so I'm gonna give this one a bold, high rating. (S-tier) (So I wanted to finish this in one day, but then I realized, that writing long, opinion-based texts like this, takes a long time. I will continue this tomorrow, and hopefully finish it in one go, but for now, I'm gonna leave it like this)

Personally I like Cartoon Cat v2's soundtrack more than Gorefield v2's, and you know what's interesting? I haven't even listened to the entire Cartoon Cat ost. I have only listened to the Cartoon Cat week and the Luna Henderson week, plus a couple of other bonus songs. I know that's a baffling thing to say, but I personally love how the songs in Cartoon Cat flow. Btw, I'm planning on doing a personal comment review on this video, but later, since I'm kinda busy.

That is basically the perfect way to end a Gorefield related mod: Jon, who was introduced in the first song, overcoming his fears and finally taking down Gorefield, fixing the narrative problem and the problem that Godfield is a good guy AND it would reference one of the mods popular Gorefield pictures out there.

This is actually the most I've disagreed on your rankings. Not saying i hate it, i think it's a pretty solid ranking. Though one thing is I don't really understand on why you hate Nocturnal Meow so much. I personally think its a perfectly alright song with my favorite part being the opening and nermal's solo at the ending because i actually don't find nermal's chromatic bad in that song. Then again i also think they did not do cry(gore)field's chromatic any justice in that song, because i think it sounds off-key at a bunch of parts. Also, your extra thoughts on catcalysm actually shocked me. Look, Catcalysm is like top 10 fnf songs for me, but i can see where your going from your perspective and understand it completely. While yes, catcslysm feels like an unexpected and a confusing ending song that breaks this mod's whole plot, i just really like it because of the music being mostly good imo So, no hate towards you or your rankings, just sharing some of my thoughts. Never have I ever been more pissed about a ranking video made by someone who literally does what I failed to do. I mean the rankings I dislike IMMENSELY but the reasons are understandable. The songs I actually disagreed with the most in terms of their placements were Nocturnal Meow, Roses And Quartz, BIGotes. Literally the worst ranking video in my opinion. Gorefield’s basically non existent storyline is what hurts the mod the most, apart from almost no stages being memorable, it just feels like the mod is building up to nothing, that’s Cataclysm’s biggest flaw MM integrates all of the freeplay stuff into its story, the stages don’t feel as disconnected because of that, and it does make All Stars work way better thanks to the buildup. Both Followed and Finale do end up being better final stages as well, Followed is better directed I think, but Finale does have the same advantages All Stars has with Black Impostor

So I’ve watched this video about 3 times as of now and WOW, you literally weren’t kidding about this ranking video being the most hottest-filled take ever on an FNF mod (there was SOOO much extreme hatred/criticism in you that I’m honestly quite entertained by it so kudos to you). While I know I’m late for this (LOL), here is my tier list/rating for each of the OSTs from least favourite to most favourite (I’ve been listening to them quite regularly for the past couple of days up until this very video, and if you’ve read my long-a$$ initial thoughts on the polls, you would already know how I view them by now - Some of them have slightly changed a bit after more thorough retrospectives but a majority still remain the same): 21. Curious Cat (C- tier, 4/10): The definition of boringgggggggggggggggg!!! 20. Metamorphosis (C- tier, 4.5/10): Slightly better than Curious Cat but that’s not saying much 19. Hi Jon (C tier, 5/10): Metamorphosis if it was somewhat improved more 18. The Complement (C+ tier, 5.5/10): More like The F&ckin Drag! 17. Cryfield (B tier, 5.5/10): Alone V2 if it was okay 16. Nocturnal Meow (B tier, 6/10): Better than Cryfield to a certain extent and I like how intensely dangerous it sounds 15. CATaclysm (Generous B tier at most, 6.5/10): DECENTLY MID SONG TO LISTEN TO BUT AN OVERALL POOR/WEAK-A$$ SH!TSHOW OF AN “EPIC GRAND FINALE” TO EXPERIENCE (it also definitely doesn’t help that it ends the entire mod off on an extremely low note) 14. Laughter and Cries (B tier, 6.5/10): Awfully weak payoff to unlock for a big main secret song, but it honestly strikes a perfect balance at being decent music-wise 13. Take Me Jon (B tier, 6.5/10): Love the sad tone that it sets out with its instrumentals, though Garfield’s “Jon, Take Me With You” atonal painfully contradicts said tone and makes the entire song feel like it’s all one big awful joke (I know that the original animation that it’s based off from is satirically comedic but still) 12. Balls of Yarn (B+ tier, 7/10): Nicely atmospheric/barren vibe, and the melodies/vocals are the biggest memorable highlight of the entire song imo 11. Mondaylovania (B+ tier, 7/10): Like the instrumentals a lot, but the melodies are okay at best (Sansfield’s muffled vocals suck though) 10. Cat Patella (B+ tier, 7.5/10): Has more memorably better melodies than Mondaylovania, and I really like the atmospheric vibe that’s apparent throughout its runtime 9. Terror in the Heights (A tier, 8/10): Kinda gives me You Can’t Run Encore vibes with the heavy metal instrumentals which I adore 8. BIGotes (A tier, 8.5/10): This one grew on me quite a bit, though the big flaw of it being dragged out for WAY too long is still apparent 7. R0ses and Quartzs (A+ tier, 8.5/10): Has extremely cool heavy rock music which I like, and the melodies themselves have actually become somewhat fun to follow now 6. The Great Punishment (A+ tier, 8.5/10): Did not need to go HARD for the first song in this mod! 5. Breaking Cat (S tier, 8.5/10): Love the intensive chase vibe and its consistently fast-paced 8-Bit music 4. Fast Delivery (S tier, 9/10): Very nice and consistent with the upbeat 8-Bit music 3. Health Inspection (S+ tier, 9.5/10): Such a more fast-paced version of Fast Delivery that’s very fun to vibe with at times 2. Captive (S+ tier, 9.5/10): Decent 1st half, VERY strong 2nd half 1. Ultrafield (SS tier, 10/10): ABSOLUTE PEAK SONG IN THE ENTIRE MOD AND I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS!!! Honourable mentions (I know that these don’t actually count in the ranking but I at least just wanted to mention their existence): 1. El Rap De Gorfield (C- tier, 5/10): A somewhat weird Espanol rap song that honestly felt like it wasn’t for anyone 2. Alter Cat (B- tier, 5.5/10): Curious Cat if it was better That’s basically it for my ranking (let me know what you guys think of it as I’m curious to know). As a former newcomer to the mod, I came into this one with limited expectations and a freshly neutral mindset just to try and gain a proper perspective on things, and after having fully formulated my personal viewpoints as of now, here’s what I have to say: Vs Gorefield has some REALLY great art visuals that I’ve ever seen, most of the gameplay mechanics are interestingly fun yet extremely difficult, but most of the OSTs (the literal big main attractions to any FNF mods in general) are honestly kind of mid/okay as hell and leave a LOT to be desired which sucks (the only notable exceptions to this are the songs mainly at A+ tiers or above since they’re really good in my personal opinion). Overall, just a really divisively mid mod experience that I’m honestly not too strong on at all and also probably one that I myself wouldn’t even come back to that much other than once or twice if I’m feeling like it. If you like or hate Vs Gorefield, then all the power to you because I can honestly see both sides perfectly and will respect them either way since opinions are subjectively different. Other than that, I’ll see you all soon for the eventual Cartoon Cat ranking.

D- 19: Mondaylovania: Never liked Megalovania, and I don't like Sansfields chrom in this song. D 18: Ultrafield: Sightly better than 19, but same issues. D 17: Balls of Yarn: Kinda forgettable, never really liked it. Also, four characters is pushing it. C- 16: Health Inspection: Ok, but Whisker's part is boring. I find it funny how this was released a day ago (not really premiere but idc) and it has the most comments out of every ranking video so far. I did a whole spreadsheet thing and yep, most comments by like around 30. uhhh here's some extra stuff I found out from the spreadsheet. Top 6 vids take up around half of the total comments from the rankings. daycare deathtrap has the least comments, not much of a surprise tbh. smallest gap in comments is tied spooky saturday scare with fnaf1 and hazy river with trepidation by *1* biggest gap in comments is ourple guy and sru:ai by 91 comments 11 out of 19 vids have over 100 comments idk why I did all of this I was bored lmao - 🤓

Honestly, after all the voting's and toxicity of this mod been let out... idk how to feel about this mod anymore, I think I like it... but I also don't like it, I just want to like a mod for the sake of liking a mod, and even then, when I see a hot take be spit out that I don't like (this goes for all mods not just gorefield) I incline to respect there opinions, yet there are some people here on this channel I don't know how to feel about because of stuff like this (I'm not gonna callout anyone here tho, don't want it to be a personal attack or anything). My point being, you could at the very least not sound like the biggest a**hole around when talking sh*t about a mod or song, even if it is for comedy sake. ...Sorry, I just needed to get that of my chest. My favorite song is CATaclysm, but Take Me Jon was my favorite for a while. I get CATaclysm doesn’t truly work as a finale song, but as someone who actually doesn’t mind the chromatics, I feel like it still sounds really good throughout (the Sansfield part is still weak though). I guess it doesn’t effect me much because I never played the mod, only listened to the music, but I guess I’m not able to relate to it as a finale song, and just a banger song. 1:08:25 as an avid dusttale apologist (if you watch your brother die over and over again and also die over and over again how long will last being the judge before snapping into the frenzied executioner) we are (hopefully) long past the sans jellybellys and pj’s daycare days, we can actually make good stuff, and just to elaborate disbelief is an undertale au (now au genre) where sans dies in place of papyrus using his body to shield him from the slash that would have killed him, this lead to a 4 stage boss fight which is pretty cool imo from giving a chance, gave up, willingly in denial of the deaths of his comrades to kill you, to one last chance, there are better versions of this out there (like most au’s a person can always have a better interpretation of an existing au im pretty sure the underswap game on gamejolt is also pretty good) but I’m just giving you the cliff notes on what I can remember, also if you tell me the last breath and no more deals ost is aren’t masterpieces I don’t know what to say (sorry if this is obsesive I grew up on ask frisk and company and drunk chara)

If it's true, ultra-field has good chromatic, the song is great and bopping and also deserve to be at least in top 5. Also mondaymania and ultra-field was supposed to represent the work of lumpy touch and the bad Monday simulator team but I can agree that Mondaylovania and YGHABM are better than in the mod, that's why it's not on my playlist. Even if it's a remix/cover, I agree about mondaylovania even if he also deserve better but your here to judge song not compared it with other, same with Cataclysm it's supposed to be a song ranking to a comparison with story (but I even with that, your speech was awesome)

Even though this is also one of my favorite mods, I can see where you're coming from with most of these songs. Especially the Sans-field week. And funnily enough, Nocturnal Meow is actually my least favorite song of this mod as well for similar reasons. It's just flat out boring to me. Hell, I even tried to make a cover to understand the song better and it did the opposite. And even though Cataclysm is one of my favorite finale songs of all FNF, with All-Stars and Followed being in the top 5, I see your points. Well maybe except the ending. To me, that part feels Godly (pun unintended) but that's probably because of the different voices I've heard this song be paired with and not the original. Oh and call this part a side tangent/theory but I feel like Nermal was chosen to be in Cataclysm because of the Nermal that was taken into Godfield's world(?) was the one from Bad Monday Simulator, which is like the Frisk of the AU, UnderGarf. So I guess it made more sense for them to put Nermal in because of that one factor alone. Now I'm not justifying that but any means, but it's most likely an explanation as to why he was there rather than Boyfriend. Oh and I guess final thing which is connected to the theory above, Sans-field was most likely placed not only because of what you stated earlier with Gorefield's constant reused chromatic taking the voice of other characters in the weeks before it, but also because both of them being in the same game, Bad Monday Simulator, with Godfield having a rare, rare chance to show up and do a one-shot to Sans-field. I know this sounds like restated information but I felt like confirming it just in case anyone else was unsure. But something I can say is that the team did try their best but hopefully (if they decided on it) V3 will make up for this as Bitfox himself said that he'd like to improve on some of the songs for the mod. And strangely enough, despite him working on most of the OST of this mod, I think his best work lies elsewhere but even though it'll be stalled as I recommend it, I think Inner Mirror is worth checking out when you have the chance. But hey, that's just me and my opinions for the most part so take what you will with this, and I wish everyone here an early Happy Thanksgiving! (✿◠‿◠)

Vyrox, I really want to talk to you about something. You know I am a mostly positive person. I always find the good in the bad. But then VS Gorefield comes around, which I already disliked, so I thought to myself that I would spread my opinions in a fun way. But over time, I just felt really bad when I posted a rant. I actually was on the verge of tears sometimes because of the anger these rants attracted. But I still kept going, spreading my opinions, and I became more sad with all the arguing and hatred. And then, when I posted my Cataclysm rant, someone said that I should “focus on the more positive sides instead of the negatives”, which I almost always do. And THAT is the biggest reason why I hate VS Gorefield now: this mod is the only FNF mod that actually drained me. I am counting down the seconds until the Gorefield era is over, because then I can finally become positive again. But, I really made this posted because want to thank you. As both a person who was new to Vs Gorefield, and someone who always tries to maintain a neutral mindset on anything in discussion, this mod was one REALLY big metaphorical roller coaster to experience, especially with all the crazy sh!t that happened as a result of the heated arguments (and now that I think about it, this may be one of, if not, the most intensely controversial debates that I have ever seen and took part in which is to be expected since Vs Gorefield had people who either loved or hated it with a fiery passion - and if you ask me, I’m personally more lukewarm towards it). Anyways, I’m gonna be extremely happy when this whole debacle is over and finally move on to other things (though that may not be possible yet when Neo eventually releases his quote unquote “Most Hottest Takes He’s Ever Had on an FNF Mod” so there’s that). Other than that, I’ll see you in some other time and can’t wait to discuss about Vs Cartoon Cat (and if you are wondering, I actually started watching a playthrough of it and am currently halfway in the runtime. And so far, it’s a pretty decent experience).
