I just remembered in BF’S solo in Act 4 of All Stars, you actually can hear GF’S vocals. If it wasn’t for a certain all stars act 4 mimics animated I watched, I wouldn’t have realized it at all.

50:07 Target audience right here! Bad day is my favorite song personally in the mod. Sadly I can’t remember if I grew up watching Super Bad Mario. But the animation is still amazing in those videos. Edit: if you wanna know why I can’t remember, it’s cause it was a long time. But I was alive when he came to KZbin. I was a little kid. I would have been around 6 years old when the first Super bad Mario video was released.

Also I heard that apparently for the mimics they used evil characters until they ran out, so that’s probably one reason why Mr SYS was added. Then again it’s kinda weird how Luigi’s day out Mario wasn’t added. While not evil, he is a huge jerk, and Beta Luigi, Turmoil and Stanley aren’t that evil. So maybe I’m wrong I don’t know.

1:07:09 I kinda can hear IHY Luigi’s vocals, But Fountain Luigi (aka Classified Luigi and Abandoned Luigi) is the hardest to hear (in my opinion), and Horror Peach and Yoshi.exe and Wario Apparition kinda blend in too. Turmoil I can kinda hear a lot easier than some of the others. But another mimic that stands out is Stanley, since like with GB, Hallyboo, Mx and more, his chromatic when Ultra M mimics him is pretty noticeable.

Also I am Pissed off that my little boy, Super Bad Mario, only gets a game over line. If he has a game over line, is it too much to ask for him to be one of the mimics in the actual song?

Also Aside from characters that were scrapped like SMG4 Mario, Speedrunner Mario and Super Mario Dolor Luigi, I really wanted Ink Bowser in the mod, because he does fit, and the only Bowser Content we got was Unbeatable, because for Wario we have W4R and the Wario apparition, for Yoshi we have Yoshi.exe and Y0SH, and for peach we have Horror Peach and Coronation Peach, so I really wish Ink Bowser would have made it in, but oh well.

1:06:43 Well I’ll give you my ranking of easiest to hardest in terms of who I can hear. (My opinion!! Also Horror Peach and Yoshi.exe will be grouped together.) Easiest to hear: Stanley (it was close between Stanley and GB, but I went with Stanley because by the SLIMMEST of margins, I can make out Stanley’s chromatic a bit more.) Second Easiest: GB (If you think he’s the easiest to hear, I understand and respect your opinion. Because he is very easy to hear.) Third Easiest: MX (It was close between him, SH Mario and DJ Hallyboo, and honestly I almost gave the spot to Secret History Mario and DJ Hallyboo, and then I remembered “Oh Yeah I can clearly hear MX”. So here he is. Now I won’t list the rest of them by fourth easiest, fifth easiest etc. because that would be ridiculous.) Costume (Honestly if MX was a bit easier to make out, Costume probably would be in the top 3. But still very recognizable.) Coronation Peach (The only female one I can clearly make out. But since most I can hear quite easily, after MX it’s just process of elimination.) DJ Hallyboo (I can make out his chromatic well, but it isn’t as easy as I once thought.) Mr Virtual (Again Process of elimination.) SH Mario (Yeah he fell quite off, but I can still make it out clearly and unlike another character we’ll get to, his vocals aren’t just sounding like they’re from Ultra M.) Turmoil (Right before BF dies I can make out his chromatic easily, and even then I can still hear it.) Beta Luigi (In my opinion out of all of the Luigi vocal’s mimicked in the song, he’s the easiest, but it’s close to the Middle of the row. Speaking of which….) Middle of the row IHY Luigi (It’s close but I barely think he deserves the start to the section.) Omega (Close between him and IHY Luigi, but he goes lower.) Devil Mario (Okay his vocals I can almost hear yet they almost for me mix in with Ultra M’s, so perfect for the middle of this section.) MR SYS (I thought about him and Devil Mario for a bit, and yeah I think he’s not as recognizable as the previous 3. But he’s still easier than the one that ends this section. Speaking of which…) Mr L (Yeah while not the hardest Luigi to make out in my opinion, when I thought about the 5, I immediately decided he was the one to end of the section.) Hardest ones to hear in my opinion. Starting the top 3 is……. Third Hardest: Wario Apparition (yeah he was already in the section before my opinions on some changed and he still hasn’t left the section, but I can kinda make it out, but vividly.) Second Hardest: Horror Peach and Yoshi.exe (while I can’t make out the chromatics almost at all, they are the second hardest because the top one has a glaring issue with how hard it is to hear them. Speaking of which….) And the hardest All Stars act 4 mimic to hear in my opinion goes to….. *Drumroll* Hardest: Fountain Luigi (aka Classified Luigi and Abandoned Luigi) (the glaring issue is while I hear the vocals that makes up the chromatic, it very much sounds like it’s from Ultra M, and even then he still would have the top spot in this category in my eyes.)

Also Gf in act 3 of all stars is called GX, which I think is a reference to how MX told ultra M that Girlfriend can survive being torn in half, which gave Ultra M an idea of how to kill her properly.

@Neos-Studio Yo, I finish it, man, I discovered the mod like 3 weeks ago, so yeah, I didn't knew about any kind of popular opinions or the V1s songs. In general, man, I think you really nailed every song very well, I myself agree that Starman's Slaughter it's probably the best one. Of course we all have opinions, but your opinions man, even if are not completely shared with me, I find your descriptions of every song so well written that I could say this is one of the most objective videos about Mario's Madness songs. I think the reason why DF is so chaotic is because it reflects the intensity of the chase scene and fight from the original Coronation Day. Really all of the songs reflect the personality and emotions of the characters.

@@Neos-Studio Uh, well, in terms of recapping the upcoming, the most obvious thing about the Hotfix is the addition of two non-canon songs (getting paired in the category with Unbeatable) that the devs have wanted in the mod since essentially the very beginning of V2’s conception, one of which being Mr. Alopecia (if you haven’t listened to that song already). FriedFrick actually has a different version of his Apparition remake on his topic/music channel that switches around the vocals & instrumentals a bit which people have theorized will end up coming to the Hotfix. In addition to that, he also said he wanted to redo No Hope on Penkaru’s 3rd Karu Kause charity stream, and he is doing exactly that along with the assistance of ya boi RedTV53. Finally, Hazy ended up getting caught into some major-ish drama, I have no clue what they supposedly ended up doing (feel free to tell me if you know), but as a result, Thalassophobia’s getting removed from the mod entirely, and L Is Real is just straight up getting a completely new & different song that’ll replace it when the Hotfix comes out. No one knows who’s composing it. Kenny’s THE END Remake WAS initially thought to be made by FriedFrick and that it wasn’t coming to the mod, but then it ended up getting revealed that he’s just making his own version just cuz, and Kenny DID end up making an official remake which people ALSO thought would be coming, but it’s not actually getting into the mod’s Hotfix. Kenny just made it because he wasn’t happy with the version of THE END that we got in the mod itself and I guess he just wanted that remade version to be the officially uploaded version. It’s honestly a shame bc THE END as it is in the mod is the top of A Tier for me, and if that remake WAS coming to the mod, it would’ve launched into High S Tier on my list. But, I’ll just say if you haven’t, please listen to Kenny’s THE END remake, it’s genuinely SO GOOD.

You could also just pronounce both letters L, G and that is acceptable too. (Hardest one lol) W4R is pronounced War. Y0SH is pronounced Yosh, or yoshi without making the "I" noise at the end.

But in your fav part The voice works for me and if I had to choose, I would choose v2) Rating: 3.5/10 26: Demise (I don't think MX's vocals work but if I had to put it in c I would) Rating: 4/10 C tier: 25: Dark Forest (originally it was It's a me, but I think this song deserves a C tier, the screaming is so damn annoying) Rating: 4.5/10 B tier: #24: Thalassophobia (originally the second best song in B tier, but I think the other 2 songs in this tier are better.) Rating: 5/10 #23: It's a me (While overshadowed being the first song, its still great, and definitely an improvement from v1) Rating: 5.5/10 #22: Apparition (While the vocals should be a bit more ghostly, this is an improvement from the og. Am I the only one who likes demise? Like, yeah, MX's vocals sound a bit meh at some parts, and I could see why people didn't like the underground part, but holy shit you will see this song when you look up the word intense. I only think MX's vocals hinder one part, and the screaming part is really good in my opinion because it perfectly shows how MX has lost his noodle and doesn't really play with his food before eating it. I think I should do my own ranking of the mario madness soundtrack.

I agree with it. I personally think Paranoia and Starman Slaughter are better than Unbeatable (still in the top 5), but All Stars will be my number 1. Despite the flaws it had in some parts, it was phenomenal otherwise, and the best way they could end the mod. Even if some parts could be a little better, I wouldn't change a thing about how it's structured. It not only sounds great, but it tells a story and looks amazing visually. All 4 phases were great in their own right, but phase 4 really goes all 😢 the art there was among the best FNF looked. The ending left me speechless and caught me off guard, but ending it with the game over sound of Super Mario World really sold it. The ending sealed the deal for me as my favorite song in the mod
