Every Sound of the Gargantuan Leviathan of the Return of the Ancients Mod For Subnautica

An ancient sea monster, that was once thought to have been dead for millions of years on 4546b is being brought back to life. Thanks to the Architects of the Unknown, this gianormous monster is coming back to the waters of 4546b. This thing was first brought to my attention by Amthomnia, IGP, and Aci, they introduced me to this colossus, and I absolutely love this behemoth. The sounds y'all are about to hear are first: the mysterious horn sounds that were playing in certain areas of the early build of Subnautica, what sounds like a fog horn or something, turns out, is being made by a creature that bigger than anything else we know. Next, are the unused updated sounds for the Garg, as it's also called. These sounds were never used by the Architects of the Unknown. Second to last, the new updated sounds that were made by the one, the only, the man, the myth, the legend, Simon Chylinsky, who made all the audio and sounds for everything in the first Subnautica, and Subnautica Below Zero. Last, but not least, the brand new custom sounds for this ancient behemoth, of which thanks to Anthomnia taking on a sponsorship to help get the monster its custom sounds, and Raid Shadow Legends helped fund the creation of the creature's new terrifying sounds. But for the very first time ever, on August 7th, the Return of the Ancients mod was showcased on Twitch for the very first time ever, by VTuber streamer girl MonikaCinnyRoll. She talked to the Architects of the Unknown, and they gave her the mod to stream it. I was there to watch her meet this ancient giant for the very first time ever, she got to meet both the adult and the juvenile Gargantuan Leviathan. The Gargantuan Leviathan behaved as it was programmed and made. And now, I present to y'all, every single sound of this ancient sea monster, the biggest leviathan of all time, and truly, the King of the Leviathans, the Gargantuan Leviathan!

Certain decibels of sound can create shockwaves in the air/water that cause such intense vibrations that they can physically damage the matter around them, including human organs such as the brain. Essentially the gargantuan leviathan is roaring so loud that the area around it is being shaken violently enough to stun or even kill smaller creatures.

Imagine if the Gargantuan actually existed in the area beyond the dead zone where you encounter the Ghost Leviathans. Imagine you have just outran the three Ghost Leviathans guarding the crater edge, or used a Cyclops shield generator to make yourself impregnable to their blows. Finally, you reach a point in the dead zone where they stop following you and swim away. For a moment, you feel a sense of invincibility, that there is absolutely nothing left for the game to throw at you. Then you hear the roar of the Gargantuan and all chaos ensues.

Well so far in the mod there's a Juvenile that hangs out in the Dunes, but the sheer size of the Adult Garg can't fit anywhere but the ELD and Void. Probably when the mod nears completion there'll likely be some components and stuff to find where the Adult dwells, making contending against it inevitable.

Just hearing this in Subnautica would be enough to make me stop playing, and I'm not scared easily. For example, I've been walking through a grass field by myself in the dark, before turning on a flashlight to see two eyes of some unknown animal rushing straight at me. That doesn't do much more than startle me slightly and I yell just to keep whatever it is from continuing to run at me. These sounds in this video though... that's nightmare fuel... Worse than any Sirenhead sound I have ever heard in any video or game ever in my opinion.

Well, before the creature had these sounds, it used old and unused reaper leviathan sounds that were never brought into the game, so then later on, KZbinrs like IGP, his cousin, Anthomnia, and Aci took on sponsorships to fund the lead audio and music developer of Subnautica, Simon Chylinsky, to make the Garg's custom sounds, Raid Shadow Legends was among the many games that were chosen to fund Simon's assignment to create the sounds for the Gargantuan Leviathan, in addition, the Gargantuan Leviathan has the horn sounds that back in the day, in the early stages of the early build of subnautica, where there were horns playing, so the Garg now makes those sounds as well, the juvenile Gargantuan Leviathan and the baby Gargantuan Leviathan are also gonna have their own custom sounds

@@TheXAllosaurus Who knows man, Godzilla may be smaller but my G is an actual nuke, even worse. He destroyed an asteroid as big as the moon once. I'm sure his burning mode or the atomic breath are more than enough to take on the Gargantuan Leviathan. Still tho, second one is MASSIVE asf but that's the only advantage it has.
