I remember when I was a kid, the gas station down the road from my house had the Super Dodge Ball cabinet. I haven’t seen that game in years, until I found it on the NES emulator on Switch. It’s funny how something as simple as a video game can cause a flood of memories. Also Super Spike V’Ball was the jam, I wish I still had it.

Little-Known Super C Fun Fact: You can charge the Fire weapon shots by holding the button for a half-second or so and releasing. The charged shots are slightly larger, have an eight-way blast, and do INSANE amounts of damage! :O

Super Jeopardy was a variation of the show that has 4 contestants at once I believe also that it had 3 rounds before Final Jeopardy as opposed to the standard 2. Which is something they've recently brought back for celebrity jeopardy and jeopardy masters.

Is Super Off-Road too much of a stretch to include? Technically it's Ivan Stewart's, I know, but nobody ever actually called it by the full name back in the day... "Super Jeopardy!" was actually a short-lived spinoff of the game show that only ran for like one season waaaay back when. It had some slightly different rules from the main show and I think it actually had four contestants instead of three. Super Pitfall is an unholy abomination.

Super Mario bros is one my first video games I ever owned. Super Mario bros 2 is my favorite of the three on the NES Very aware of the Iran-Contra affair

Super Mario Bros 2 was an interesting one for sure. The game definitely grew on me, but I wasn't sure what to make of it when it was new.

Super Jeopardy was actually based off the Fall 1990 spinoff of Jeopardy that had 4 players.

Yep, there was actually a Super Jeopardy and a Monopoly gameshow that aired for 13 weeks in 1990. The jeopardy game didn't use "dollars" but "points" if i remember correctly, also I think it was aired on Saturday evenings .

Super Pitfall is one of the only games I'm aware of that has a *literal* beginner's trap, and it's still hilarious that the Angry Video Game Nerd's exaggerated version of it was eventually made real via Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures.

I could have used Super Sprint but usually just stick with licensed games (it was tengen) and super off road was under Ivan 'Ironman' Stewart's super off road... but still could have counted.

​@@JohnRiggsyeah, everyone played Super Sprint and Super Off Road. I don't think the license counts in the title. Remember "The Taco Bell Dana Carvey Show?" They were just the sponsor and the title would change each episode. Also, I think the Tengen games were well known enough and played to just include them...I mean nobody owned or played or loved Stadium Events and everyone counts that

Super Dodge Ball is one of my favorite NES games. It has a great momentum mechanic for the super throws. I don't think Super Spy Hunter gets the love it deserves. It looks as good as early SNES games and is fun (I love the turret weapon).

"Super C" was titled "Probotector II: Return of the Evil Forces" in Europe. I wonder if this could also be known as "Super K". Contra is 魂斗羅 (kontora), based on the word 斗魂 (tōkon) reversing the first two characters. 斗魂 is slang for 闘魂 (tōkon, fighting spirit). I think the final 羅 is supposed to be a plural marker written in a non-standard way.
