Outside of one ball that should’ve been picked he didn’t play too bad. He’s going against the starting secondary most of the snaps. He had several drops (one being a touchdown). For a guy that just got here he put the ball in the right places most of the time.

This all looks very similar to his film at Clemson and Oregon State. I don't think even Mike Norvell can turn him into a star QB. On the bright side, we have a weaker schedule than we typically do (based on 2023 performances), but I think we lose at least 2 games.... don't sleep on Kromenhoek, though. I hope he's ready to step in if DJU is unable to take that next step under Norvell.

Watched this guy at CU and OS. Great guy personally, top notch kid, but mid as a qb. What you saw is what you will generally get in big games. He’s a physical specimen and will flash against mid level competition just never saw big play in big moments and seems to get down on himself and regress within those games. Great guy though
