right there with you brother. i was turned onto ETID by a friend when gutter phenomenon came out. never looked back. every...single...fucking song hits. their tour dvd's and interviews are always hilarious. got a chance to say hello to andy when they came through town, he was just at the back of the club chillin. hung out with us for a bit before the show started. this is 1 of 3 ritual bands me and my friends have. every time this band comes through town we all get together again to head bang and pit and have a great fucking time. cheers brother.

it seems like 90% of the bands i've been listening to for a very long time will almost inevitably put out a song i just wont be 100% on board with. which is fine. BUT...ETID has consistently put out amazing music. Not only that, but their live shows are ALWAYS fucking awesome. Their tour DVD's and interviews are fucking hilarious...in my top 3 of all time for SURE.

I’ve been on this plant for 48 years, dedicated a large portion of my life dabbling in old school death metal and prog metal, amongst other heavier offerings… I know of Every Time I Die, but never consciously sought them out… heard this song and bam! So catchy, slamming riffs, killer vocals, all around solid band…. Gotta dig back into these guys. Great find for those old metal head. 🤘😎🤘

Discovered ETID a few months before Low Teens released and was hooked when I first listened to The Coin Has a Say. The rest of their discography I listened to shortly after, loving every single minute of it. Radical ended up becoming one of my favorite albums of 2021. Was supposed to see them live this year with Underoath, but now that won't happen and I'm crushed. Will miss them. Long live Every Time I Die.

2024. I know that everyone went on to do different things after Etid broke up a couple years ago..9 albums is definitely a legacy to leave behind , but, this song is on their last album and is probably their best work, so I think there was more that could have came out of it. There is just an essence about this band that is pretty ethereal and transcendent. I remember my life changed when I first heard Hot Damn back in 2003. Little did I know as a fresh teenager that I would eventually start a band myself, get signed and have the privilege to tour with this band 10 years later back in 2013. The guys themselves were very good to us and that also solidified just how much of a treasure they really are as people and as artists. I still have a picture of Jordan feeding me poutine at 2 in the morning somewhere in Montreal lol 🇨🇦.
