@@ChristSavesandMusicHelps I always label them as rock and roll. Maybe not the R+R we are used to being force fed on the radio but the kind that only true outliers achieve. I think the best rock music is the kind the hive minded previous generation just can't get behind. Example, my grandparents didn't like the Stones or Beatles but loved Elvis. My Dad loved Zeppelin, Sabbath, Pink Floyd (etc) but hates bands that have distorted vocals despite considering himself a music lover. I admit it's a broad stroke but I think labelling ETID as only 'metal' or 'hardcore' is selling them short of their progress/genius. This is the kind of forward thinking Rock and roll needs despite the fact the masses would sooner label Nickelback or Disturbed (etc) as the current generation of rock. ETID will never have mass appeal although this song in particular is probably gonna do them wonders. What do i know, though?

Couldn’t agree more on both this album being their best and also that the big dirty was previously my favorite. His sarcastic/contrite lyrics seem to cut even deeper on this album, the break neck pace and ability to slow it up and provide uneven breakdowns blows my mind. What a great Fucking band!

@@richardgrinnan3846 For real, the album doesn't give you a break - just jam after jam after jam, and breakdown after breakdown. Keith's lyrics have worried me for more than a decade; this album even more so than the last albums...but fuck, that's why I love this band. They are pure chaos and I'm living vicariously through Keith Buckley's everlasting existential breakdown.

This brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before... Pfff, I don't know how to recover from this.

I listened to the album and I think it is the best that the band has made, a return to origins but with a new power. Great ETIDs, thanks

For like 3 days straight I had the biggest déjà vu feeling whenever I would hear that little guitar lick at 0:24 but I couldn't figure out from where and it was driving me nuts. And this morning I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT what it's reminding me of so much and it's a very similar lick in Go Slowly by Radiohead! So yeah all that to say your Radiohead comparison here is spot on

Same vibe here, with a bit of mars volta for a sec. What a track, a true masterpiece.

What an incredible album, from start to finish. ETID is one of the most diverse bands I've ever listened to and it shows with this record. The mixing and layering of the tracks were fantastic, they've really showed their talent and evolution on this one. There were a bunch of different sounds I wasn't expecting and they worked so well together, I can't say anything bad about this record, what a wild ride, now for my second listen.

Most diverse? Not even close.. they’re consistent though that’s for sure.

@@juliansalazar7097 Yup, one of the most diverse. We'rewolf, underwater bimbos, map change, wanderlust, the new black, and this song just to name a few. Not one track is the same, and no record of theirs is the same.

I realise this is a song for their sister, and I certainly don't want to detract from that, but as a fan that has considered this band's music the most important music in his life for over a decade, this song is like a farewell to the band.

Hard to watch this and listen with the BS life throws at us! I'm not a big fan or anything but these guys did something and it shows from the community. LOTS of love guys! my favorite song

It's pretty amazing how these guys consistently release a better album each time, been a fan since Gutter Phenomenon and Radical is, in my opiniom, their best one yet
