I mean to be fair, that first one with the attic she really did have a point, Peter was being stupid and a bit selfish. He pulled the insulation off the walls to fight with, refused to come down and help her with chores despite stuffing clothes down the toilet that she had to fish out, and he was throwing giant lawn darts hard enough they pierced the ceiling in Chris's room, he could've hurt Chris had the writers decided to go ott like they usually did. Like Lois is definitely terrible, and locking him in the attic was extreme, but Peter did wind her up and provoke her in that episode. I really enjoy your content by the way. I've been really enjoying these 'the worst of___' character videos.

The problem with Lois she has no purpose in life and is like a drug addict chasing her next high, she’ll find something she enjoys but always takes it too far with her poor impulse control. She married Peter mainly as a f-you to her parents and their expectations as well as Peter wild irresponsibility believing that it will always be fun. She becomes a mom and her an episode you missed ‘Throw it Away’ she becomes obsessed by Tricia’s book and de-clutters everything to find joy. But as usual she takes it too far. Brian and Stewie call her out commenting on how she’s searching for something to fill her empty life and showing past example of ‘a simple pleasure’ (putting a lemon slice in a glass of water, to then use to swallow Vicodin from multiple prescriptions saying that it’ll all seem like new idea again tomorrow). Well as the episode gets on she throws Peter out, then; Chris, Meg, Brian and then Stewie (for cluttering his diaper) but as in the episode she’s throwing away things bring her no joy meaning she has no joy from her family. When Stewie runs for snack captain he is told by Doug he was a mistake as it’s odd, Meg and Chris are so much older than him. But he finds out from Chris’s porn stash videos Lois practically r***d Peter so she’d get pregnant again to have a purpose again. Yet looking at show as a whole Brian and Meg spend more time raising Stewie. Megs often the one holding him, Brian takes him places and tries to guide him even pointed out by Meg (when she gets her cat that Brian and Stewie always have adventures) and by Chris (when they raise their squirrel and Brian kills him Chris lashes out saying how Stewie and Brian are best mates always together) With Chris and Meg she’s always making them feel terrible and destroying their self esteem. Chris: Started high school frightened of Freshman hunt she drops him off and announces his status Knows he’s overweight and doesn’t stop it When he and Peter become close she tries to sabotage as she feels she’s lost all her power Complains about Principal Shepherds fat shaming of Chris and brings it up at PTA only to be 10x more cruel and vindictive than what he said. In Fresh Heir she comforts Chris about his labs of relationship with his dad but admits she only cares as doesn’t want him to commit suicide as it would be a stain on her record as a mom but then gleefully states she’ll just make up lies about how she was lucky to keep him alive this long Meg: She’s cruel and vindictive to Meg constantly as pointed out in Seahorse Seashell how Lois is a mess, lazy and irresponsible but she’s ruthless pointing out Megs faults. When Chris dates Connie and becomes awful to Meg she comforts her for 45 mins then says she’s had enough and suggests she’ll look away while Meg kills herself In Trading Places she’s annoyed that Meg is a much better housewife than her who tells her she’s only cleaning a house and to stop acting like a martyr. Honestly I think Lois is actually extremely Jealous of Meg, Lois pretty much had life handed to her, pretty with rich family and what has she done nothing, Meg has none of those advantages yet is extremely accomplished (very intelligent, knows other languages, singer, when she puts effort she’s more pretty than Lois, Olympian, went to University and displayed impressive skills) it’s only now they’ve pushed her too far they’re frightened off bullying her.

The latter points are especially on point: Lois had arguebly the easiest life and was a massive bully and psycho, while still still being able to be one when something ticks in her. I think part of it could due how her Parents treated her, and now she repeats it on them as some sort of coping mechanism since both her Dad and Mom dont seem to really care about her, especially her Dad, mainly for marrying Peter. It honeslty makes me wonder what will happened when the show (if it ever gets that far) kills them off, an what will happen to all that Fortune. this is a small thing but in the episode where they moved out of quahog and made meth... by the end, lois got smart and decided she was going back to quahog. she asked the rest of the family if they wanna join her. why was she giving stewie a choice instead of idk, taking him away from that terrible situation because he is a baby? it's bad enough she made almost no effort to change chris and meg's mind, but she was ready to leave stewie with that meth lifestyle. i know for stewie it's nothing but to lois he is supposed to be this helpess baby so him being left behind was weird.
