Interesting how merry go round broke down is used in more contexts that fit with carnivals or merry go rounds while merrily we roll along is treated as more a brand associate song like “oh look its bugs bunny!”

So it seems as if "Porky Pig's Feat" was the first short to actually acknowledge that Bugs was becoming the face of Leon Schlesinger Cartoons and that "Merrily We Roll Along" was essentially becoming the "Bugs Bunny Theme".
