@artemkuchuk3073 this was after the black flashes from Gojo so I wouldn’t say the red output was lower, in addition even if the blue was “dying out” it was still a maximum blue which should put it higher than a normal output blue not to mention Gojo enhanced the blue with chants afterwards as well(to redirect the piercing water). The unlimited hollow also was different than a normal purple in terms of properties such as the 360 aoe effect. So all in all I still think it should’ve done the job but the king of binding vows says otherwise.

@artemkuchuk3073 yeah I mean my thing is that since it was strong enough to kill Mahoraga(which at that point had adapted to blue and adapted like 70% to red) it had to be, otherwise what was the point of adaptation. You could call purple a new phenomenon but since it’s derivative of blue and red Maho should’ve at minimum have some sort of resistance to it. It’s not like purple(an application of space manipulation) was a completely foreign concept like fire was to Maho in its fight with Sukuna. Cause if it’s the case purple can just one shot Maho which literally had adapted to more than half the technique, I don’t see how 10 shadows was ever meant to rival limitless.

Higuryma had a technique removal hax and a one hit KO hax, one was completely negated by a bullshit asspull and the other (the sword) was used for a very distasteful cliff hanger that ended up in nothing. No explanation, the sword just went poof and Sukuna was kept alive, negating every single point in Higuruma beign an ace.

It was from behind, he thought Yuji was down for the time being, and he wasn't moving to dodge, so that sword was going to hit him. It was 100% dumb luck that Sukuna didn't die there, because if it had held for even a second longer, he would have been stabbed and instantly killed. Whether it was foreshadowed or not, the fact remains that plot absolutely saved him there.

Unless you argue that he learnt the one hand sign domain from Gojo, which is fair enough. Though Sukuna and Gojo's Rct is hella fast and that is the only reason I need to believe that Sukuna healed it instantly when he was coming out of rubbles and then infront of Gojo.

Amazing video, i would have also added few instances when plot convenience REALLY did bail our Convenience Man out and came in clutch. 1. The hole "Enchain" gambit was a great set up and idea, but had terrible execution. So you mean to tell me, that by including "everyone" into logistics of a very technical Binding Vow, Eugene did not include himself due to his sacrificial cog mentality that he has yet to develop by the time of chapter 9? Okay, i can buy into that even though those semantics are suspiciously never in favour of our protags and seem to only favour Plotkuna and/or Gripjaku, but okay, i can accept that. But knocking a person out cold and feeding Cursed Object down minors throat is still fair game? Nuh uh, this does not sit right with me. That's definitely harmful and should have counted as breaking BV. But again, plot brushes aside this as if it's not even worth considering as a factor, and as if the only gamble that was made by Suckkuna was ripping Yuji's finger. Plot armor, convenience, whatever you want to call it, i'm not convinced this main villain is anything but a conman (like Reggie said all sorcerers are), not a "God", not "King of Curses", just a loser who had to run away from a vessel that was too powerful for him to control, rig the body of suitable vessel with just right CT to kill the biggest threat to him, while promising to kill that same threat inside Yuji's body way back when in the third chapter of a seires. Big L. 2. That awfully convenient, unknown factor, that Higuruma's domain confiscates CTools instead of CTechs or CE when all three are factors. So Higuruma himself after killing 20 sorcerers in the CGs never run into any sorcerer with CT? Or the main crew, that never even thought of testing that when Higgy's domain is your biggest out of jail card when dealing with Plotkuna/Bumgumi situation? Especially, when you have Yuta with his multiple CTools, or Ui Ui with his ability to swap souls to test stuff out? Yeah, the cast had only like 1 month of prep, they did not have time... sure... Which brings me to a third point that i completely forgot about: 3. Suckkuna knew everything about Gojo's abilities due to Megumi's, Yuji's and Kenjaku's memories, while Gojo did not even know about Suckkuna having and Open Domain, which Yuji, Choso and Inumaki did not even consider telling other sorcerers during time skip, despite clearly knowing... 4. Don't get me even started on weird, convoluted "Soul damage transfer" of an attack that was never said to be able to target the soul of a target, but the brain of a target. But apperently, you can just tank the attack with your brain and transfer the said damage to a second soul that resides inside your body while you protect your own soul with your own domain's Sure Hit, while the second soul is somehow excluded from that protection and has to burden the adaptation ability while tanking brain damaging attack.... What the actual fuck is this word salad? 5. And don't forget those awfully convenient Binding Vows, which, with one exception, never get explained, to the point of being called "unknown factors" or "multiple impromptu BVs" in one of the latest chapters... just brilliant. Overall, great video, i hope to see more vids like this, and i'm also interested to hear your thoughts about JJK's problems with pacing and killing off characters without giving them more time to shine or just interact and feel like people. As well as Gege skipping some of a plot points he himself previously established, or making them as underwhelming as possible (Angel and "Fallen" stuff, Military subplot and "Bomb" reveal, Cursed Corpses and Gakuganji's plot point, Cursed Realm, Kenny's backstory and many, many more) Like, subscribed, great video!

1. Yuji has always had the mentality of putting people first and not considering himself, from the start his wish was to die surrounded by people, and maybe it is considered the present mentality. Plus if you think about the mindset of one's decisions, Sukuna putting Angel to sleep could be considered not hurting her plus the feeding of the finger was an instant transfer, even if it was seen as harmful. The BV was ongoing only when he was in control of Yuji's body, so he could escape the punishment by leaving Yuji's body and no longer controlling him. 2. Higuruma and co didn't know of Sukuna's cursed tool, which was created by Yoruzu with her cursed energy and technique(what Higuruma's domain confiscates) and cursed tools probably weren't used commonly by players Expt Maki and Yuta. So the knowledge of them not knowing probably played a part in the big hole in the prep planning. 3. Gojo probably did know(can't be bothered rereading) But was confident his domain was stronger and more refined than Sukuna's which would allow him to win and probably didn't take into account Sukuna's domain continuing to slash the outside of his barrier. Because only 2 people have used barrierless domains Sukuna and Kenjaku, so he didn't know the exact parameters or qualities of one 4. Its been stated In Jjk that the soul and body go hand in hand, so it was probably sukuna giving Megumi more control, but due to Meg's mental state he could only tank it. 5. Sukuna has the highest understanding and knowledge of BV/Jujutsu in the series as a whole and everyone of his BV has a higher limit. We can consider Miwa's binging vow as an example, She sacrificed all her potential to unleash a powerful attack. But due to her limited potential it didn't amount to much. So if he take potential and the value of one compared to another, sukuna has quite a few ways to make binding vows(Though I due agree that they are quite ambiguous)

To be honest the sukuna vs Gojo fight has held up less each time I have reread it, especially since I don't buy the Gojo wanting to prove himself the strongest explanation. Gojo literally opened the fight with a surprise hollow purple which was enabled by other people's power. I think him warping in, immediately opening a domain and the gloating to sukana about how weak he is as his brain rots is way more in character. Same thing with the domain expansions vs just escaping and gloating about how open domains are useless against him. I mean when gojo fought togi the second time he did not feel the need that he could react to togi this time. Instead he immediately takes to the sky to get out of togi's range and hits him with his strongest technique. And that was gojo when high and with nothing to lose(amani is already dead) vs gojo with months of planning and the lives of all his students on the line

Yuji would be getting hit by cleaves which are stronger than dismantles and he didn't have RCT at that point all this would definitely hinder their movements a lot and Sukuna even with nerfed output can still use a domain with regular output and a regular output 15F Sukuna's domain was said to be able to kill Megumi's Mahoraga had it not been for adaptation and if his domain's output would still be lower then there is furnace to finish them off

Wait so Sukuna getting Mahoragas final spin is "lucky", but Gojo landing a black flash wasn't? At least the wheel spins had been built up to, but black flashes are entirely random (but the odds can be increased through good CE control). I'm not saying that it was bad writing on Gege's part, far from it, the black flash allows previously unwinnable fights to become much more contestable, and in this case, it let Gojo put on a majestic show rather than just dying from being overwhelmed by Mahoraga, Agito and Sukuna. It is the perfect tool for letting a character win a fight that they normally shouldn't.

If I'm remembering right hasn't Gojo always known how to use rct to recharge a burnt out cursed technique? After awakening back in Hidden Inventory I thought he said something about using rct on his brain to heal so he can use Infinity 24/7.

Yeah but it was bit different in the Gojo Vs Sukuna fight. As far as i remember Gojo uses the RCT method to heal his brain and maintain the limitless 24/7, in the actual fight he destroyed the part of his brain responsible for the technique and then healed it as that was the only way to recharge it after a DE, leading to the catastrophic nose blead.

went back to hidden inventory tcb to check and he just says "I'll also have reverse cursed technique running around the clock to preserve myself. A fresh brain at all times." So maybe rct can preserve a brain but destroying and regenerating from scratch takes less time on the spot for something as straining as DE?

No it’s slightly different. Gojo can constantly run his cursed technique without damaging his brain because of the 6eyes always being able to using RCT on it at the same time. However, using a domain puts your CT on a cool down rather than give you damage to heal, so he learnt how to totally reset it by destroying and healing that part of his brain in the fight against Sukuna. Hope I explained that ok…
