Every Time Some Should Have Died In Total Drama: All Stars

This video is PROOF that all stars was probably the worst season in the series. Although I personally believe it was better than pahkitew island, the death counter for what was supposed to be a super deadly season was actually rather conservative, and that was with me including 11 deaths for Scott that might or might not have counted (I put them in due to the size of the hammer. It hit Scott's ice cream for sure but it was also hitting him since he was screaming in pain, and since his head was closest to the bowl, it probably would've been crushing his head while hitting the ice cream). The point is, this season was not that good, but it still holds a hit of nostalgia for me as it was the first season of Total Drama I ever watched. Anyway enough chatter from me, here are the final tallies for season 5 and the current overall leaderboard:

For comparison the highest dive done by a person to survive was about 58.8m. Huge difference, and unless they had some wonky water properties that softened the blow then yes they definitely would have died

7:21 one of the creators actually said in an interview that the balloons actually popped and they safely landed in the ocean. I mean when Scott was eliminated with Gwen they both fell off Niagara falls. And joe got attacked by the creatures that ate an intern in world tour. I think if they can survive that they can land in the water safely.

Lindsay was good enough. Who they really should have gotten rid off was Sam. I mean, what the hell... You bring Sam back, but not OWEN? Owen has legit been one of the five icons of TD, along Gwen, Duncan, Heather and Courtney. Honourable mentions: Harold, Lindsay, Izzy, Leshawna.

Honestly I would just add 4 competitors into the mix bringing Brick and Owen for heroes and bring Justin and Anne Maria for Villians since the 50/50 split was one of the few things I actually really liked from this season I know Anne Maria is a hard pick for Villians but I feel like her controversy with the Love Triangle could work here similar to Duncan, Courtney and Gwen’s triangle but making it better for both sides

In the end, by getting shocked by a rope made of an electrical wire twice, getting chomped by snapping turtles, bashed by the total drama machine, and being floated away by a giant fart balloon, one of our tied season 4 winners, Scott, had won with 21 almost deaths. However, it’s not enough to beat Tyler’s 34 from season 3. Do the contestants from pahkitew island and the ridonculous race have a chance to beat Tyler’s score or will Tyler remain and reign as the almost tdi death champion supreme? It’s all happening here on Total… Drama… Almost Deaths!

People seem to really hate this season and I can get we're they're coming from, but truth be told there are some interesting aspects that work pretty well and some ideas that could've been good if executed correctly. Maybe if they had 26 episodes instead of 13 to work with, this would've been a really good season. I think it's pretty funny and overall harmless, definitely not among my favourites, but it's better than Action and Pakhitew Island for sure.
