I mean the TV entity clearly deconstructs the whole arc villain trope. It's clear that in his first appearance of selling the demonic keyboard that the crew had no preparation or knowledge of how to defeat a demonic goop. They end up nuking the castle, but even that doesn't kill the goop. They're not even aware of Puzzlevision's existence which means that they are up against someone they have no idea exists let alone easily predict

I have a theory of what's going on: - He knows that Tari will be a problem for him like she was in Western Spaghetti and she was possibly the first to be captured and isolated from the others, its explan why she is missing at last episodes. - Since Mario opens a can of beans, everyone has been captured as the episode focuses on being a Family Guy episode. - In CEO of Rizz the focus was on the TV commercial with Boopkins and Hatsune Miku. - In SMG4 News is literally a TV News. - There's that locked room in the new castle that not even SMG4 himself knows what's inside. - The name of Showgrounds already tell us what it is for, a place for shows, mainly for TV.

What makes him truly scary is the fact that we don't know anything about him. We don't know his origins, why he targets the glitchy crew, what his motives are, what he's capable of doing, whether there are more like him out there, or what his start of darkness was. Literally nothing is known about this tv... thing. At least the previous major villains (Francis, Waluigi, Niles, Lawyer Kong) had context as to who they were, what their motives are, and what they were capable of. We know nothing about this tv entity aside from the fact that he targeted Wren, SMG4, and Marty alongside him being the one who sold the showgrounds. The clear lack of an origin story or proper motivation actually helps to make this tv guy truly terrifying. There's no rhyme or reason in his actions and the crew aren't even aware of this tv entity's existence. He's just... there. It's like what made Judge Doom such a terrifying villain

Honestly, I just don't find him interesting. SMG4 did basically nothing to promote him, and he is just a clique villain. 'Oh, he trapped some people in a simulation, and it looks like they love it but really they are terrified.' Yep, haven't seen that one before. 'A dude that appears in random places only to become a villain later.' I mean, this is a creative idea, but the fact that he is so unmemorable aside from one scene from Western Spaghetti, the Announcement Video, It's gotta be Perfect and WOTFI 2023, he doesn't do anything really evil. He is just there. We have already seen the gang in a simulation game, so the stakes are not that high, and it asks to rate the episodes, kind of like the decisions in WOTFI 2023, and that is a great idea, if the episodes did something to stand out. Honestly I just didn't like how condescending Mario Mysteries was. Kind of felt like Analog Horror done by a 6 year old

He's just... there. A terrifying boogeyman who is stalking the gang and playing them like puppets. Sometimes not giving a villain a clear motive or backstory can make them more terrifying
