Creative Control | Puzzlevision PREQUEL | FANMADE animatic | Blender 2D 3D hybrid

After Learning of Mr. Puzzles Plan to take over Control of Creativity Lane by brainwashing everyone through TV screens, Eliza decides to confront him personally. after finding the entrance to his primary control room, Eliza is caught, and realizes that things are much worse than she thought- but in attempts to destroy the mind control mechanism, it activates and malfunctions, causing everyone in the city to freeze.
This takes place as a pequel to the SMG4 Puzzlevision story arc.
This is my first animatic made entirely in Blender, and it was loads of fun! I really enjoyed this method an would love to make a video discussing the process

I saw a theory that Mr Puzzles actually symbolizes the fall of Cable TV with evidence to support this theory. What does the forgotten living embodiment of Cable TV do? Take over the competition. It explains why Mr Puzzles is obsessed with 5 star ratings. If one of his shows gets a 5 star rating, maybe people will go back to cable TV. He'll be able to control every type of screen entertainment, forcing everyone to go back to watching Cable. It's also important to notice how the first 3 victims of Mr Puzzles embody his main traits. SMG4 represents his desire for perfection, Marty his willingness to hurt people as long as it gives him what he wants, and Wren symbolizing his refusal of letting go of the past. Also notice how Mr Puzzles's shows parody stuff from the 90s that have been forgotten in favor of mainstream stuff.

Doesn't help that Lawyer Kong's hat resemble's Mr Puzzles's hat). I definitely agree with the thought that Mr Puzzles gave Francis the island and equipment. They never explained how Francis got both the island and equipment in the span of one week. That's logically impossible to achieve in one week unless someone gave it to him. It doesn't help how Wren's machine resembled the Ink Zuccer. The origin you gave Mr Puzzles here is interesting in that he wants to make the world a utopia, but doesn't realize he's basically depriving people of their free will.

Another piece of evidence which supports this idea is the fact that Wren's machine looked eerily similar to the Ink Zuccer. I also think he had a big hand in the lawsuit arc. That whole arc just felt so random and out of place since it had little foreshadowing. Not helping matters is how Lawyer Kong's hat resembles the one Mr Puzzles's wears. Kinda curious, what do you think his reason for starting the arcs was.

Honestly seeing this and how the most recent puzzlevision episode went (the super amazing gameshow episode or whatever) alot of this lines up puzzles wants to get rid of unpredictability and terrible outcomes by controlling and scripting everything and the fact that Elizas brash nature and unpredictability as a whole is reflected in Mario to a much more extreme degree it really fits that puzzles would get fed up with Mario extremely easily and start going crazy because of him his whole goal is to get rid of unpredictability and Mario is essentially the embodiment of that it all just fits with the current story so well incredibly well done

Just to inform everyone in the comments section, the person who voiced Mr. Puzzles in this video is *apparently* the same one who composed the song, which is why the main story beats of this video are similar to the song's ones. That's also why they share "Creative Control" as a title/name. So it's more of a reference rather than a prediction.

To those who said "How did you predict the name of the song???!" or "SMG4 took the name for their song!", the one who voice acted Mr. Puzzles in this video also composed the Creative Control song for SMG4's Puzzlevision movie! So when he participated in the composition of it he maybe decided to make a reference to this fan work he participated inside!

Eliza will be happy to know that Mr puzzles next victims (the smg4 crew) successfully beat him for supposed good. Now all she has to do is live with the consequences of her actions, unless she can somehow fix it. Who knows?
