The joke about the cowboy dressed in all paper being arrested for rustling is not anti-humor. It's a traditional pun. Rustling means stealing cattle but is also a sound paper can make.

Anti-Humor is NOT puns. Example 2 is a PUN. Antihumor has no punchline or the punchline is not based in traditional humor. Shaggy Dog (ex. no soap) IS antihumor. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-humor. ...Respectfully, you made a nine-minute video explaining puns, mistaking puns for several other things, and misexplaining most else. Honestly, you should delete this, do some research and try again 'cause this video is just misinformation. There are 13 sections of video here and only two (slapstick, insult comedy) are _fully_ correct. That cowboy bit wasn't anti-humor. It was a pun which is a completely traditional punchline. Anti-humor would be like 'A Jew walked into a bar. He had a drink, paid his tab, then went home.' The joke isn't in the multiple meanings of words (like 'rustling') but the utter lack of a punchline. The joke is that it isn't a joke at all. That bus bit has nothing to do with sarcasm. The best example you found was the rain bit before that. The humor there is in undermining expectation (because you think he's imagining himself as the victim, not the driver...Which is a cornerstone of comedy but not a 'type of humor') and also in the dark turn implying he wanted to be the one who hit her (making this black humor as well). "White humor" isn't any 'type' of humor. It's more a stylistic option. Near every humor type can be delivered in a 'white' tone, and several of the types you mention here are done that way. Even your 'white humor' example was just two more puns. Nobody calls dry humor (also more a style of delivery than a 'type of humor') 'dad jokes'. PUNS are dad jokes. And sure enough, that clock joke was just another pun. The 'indecisive' joke was deadpan and thus dry but its 'humor type' is more specifically wordplay (of which punnery is a subtype) The mountain bit wasn't even close to black humor. Just because it vaguely referenced death doesn't make it black humor...Although one could say it was black humor due to the punchline involving a black man (pun!). Like the bus bit, the humor here is more in subverting audience expectation. The first one you got half-right, satire, was over halfway into the video...And it was only half-right while you stayed vague. Then you gave '1984' as an example and that's not a (successful, anyway) satire. It uses some exaggeration but it is far moreso just a straightforward dystopian tale. The Onion is a better example of satire. And then you got surreal humor wrong. The eyeball joke is not surreal at all but proper black humor. The difference between it and that mountain bit you misused as 'black humor' should be starkly clear if you run them side-by-side. "No Soap Radio" is itself not a 'type of humor' but an example of surreal comedy...So you did technically give a 'surreal' example but you categorized it and thus explained it all wrong. The internet though is full of surreal humor. "Reaffirming" and "autodestructive" (and 'self-irony' which is outright nonsense) are just words you threw about and not any known 'type' of humor. Both examples are instead the same type of humor called self-deprecation. And your 7:42 example didn't even make sense. If they can do those things at once, they wouldn't say 'I'm not good at multitasking'. I assume that was a speaking error but you should have checked through this for mistakes like that. And lastly, you got 'observational humor' right in the basic sense but your first example was just a statement of a thing that happens rather than an actual joke about it. Dear @nyanuwu4209, first things first, I want to admire your courage to politely explain to me, why you consider this video not-satisfying. I really like the fact that you showed tons of examples, and did a great job writing this comment. Sadly, I don't have enough knowledge nor the courage to argue with you on these themes, due to the fact that I am sure you, as probably a native speaker, know this topics much better than i do. I only have two things to say: 1) I ain't going to delete this video 2) 1984 IS a satire, and a successful one. Not a straight forward one, but it DOES mock the so called "Soviet Dream" and it shows such a hyperbolic world, so absurd yet so cruel, that at one point, when i was re-reading it, I nearly burst into laughing because of such thin line coming from the Orwell himself saying something like "And this is the world that commies wanted to live in. I laugh at them, I laugh at such childish dream and I invite y'all to laugh with me.". That is, at least, how I understand this book.
