Actually it is on Tuscany, probably nearby a small town because it cannot be Florence, because it's very big compared to the town in the map, and I don't know how efficient can be for an Italian Druglord staying close to a "Chief Town" (The Italy it's splitted in various "Regions", that are a less indipendent version of a Country, because most of the power it's centered at Rome and they cannot make their own laws without Rome's pemission, so they aren't "Minor States" like in the US and then their "Capitals" are defined as "Chief Towns", since they have less power then an actual country "Capital City") since it can be easier to spot what they are doing there thank to a major police and especially civilian activity.

It's not in AC2, it's in brotherhood. And it's called monteriggioni (dunno exact spelling). It was like a small city to which Ezio's uncle Mario brought him to after his city (maybe florence) got destroyed by Cesare's army.

About the opened tombstone, I think It is a reference of Romeo and Juliet because the whole Romeo and Juliet story is in Italy, aswell as the map Villa And if you haven't read that book, Juliet fakes her death to be with Romeo, puting herself in a tombstone to later open it and scape with Romeo

The reason assassins creed is probably there is because after Altair died, Ezio became the mentor of the assassins, and in AC you mostly leap of faith on high buildings, and yes the house and all resembles how houses were made back in the day

very few of us pc players even try the maps out on the test server either, the test server is like 80% teamkilling toxicity and you have to download the whole 50gig+ game again. Most of us never even bother with it.
