Get a haste 2 beacon a netherite pickaxe with efficiency 5 and you are good to go. Your terrain won't be damaged you will not be hurted and your pets will be safe too. Will just consume time but it's worth it.

Reminds me of the current minecraft world i play in, random caves are littered with gravel, dirt and grass that is not naturally generated, a pretty big opening in the nether almost fully blocked off due to endermen, a part of the desert a few hundred blocks from my main base that is filled with endermen and they aren't teleporting away for some reason xD

I wouldn’t use tnt either because they can blow up materials that you want like diamonds witch especially with most Minecraft shops using diamonds as currency you really want those diamonds that the tnt destroys and obliterate also again it can do unwanted damage to the surrounding environment unless done so precisely and specially that it’s still just better to dig manually with your pickaxe and haste+speed

Just a note, if you have anything better than an iron pickaxe, mining lying down is actually slower because of your movement speed so maybe it's good in the first few minutes of the world before you find iron I guess :D
