Ladies, I came out to a divorce where I dressed modestly for 2 decades. I purchased more fitting clothes after I divorced because I felt that my clothes sent a boredom message. I moved to a new state and found a church. I wore dresses that were fitted and didn't think nothing about it. Most of the women were standoffish towards me. The new. Were equally standoffish. All spoke and were friendly, yet standoffish. In time, the spirit began to work in me. I became more aware of people attire. No single man that approached me were interested in marriage but was interested in what married people do. I like the clothes. So, I now add long cardigans and long blazers to hide highlights of the rear, add inexpensive pieces of lace to shirts and dresses that are v-cut. To be honest, I get better results from people after making the changes. Still, I do not wear any of it to church anymore. I ensure everything is ultra conservative in church because I now fully understand that highlights of a woman's body is a distraction for men who are trying to do the right thing and outright disrespectful to the place of worship. I hope this helps someone. I will get rid of all bodycon should the spirit leads me. For now, adding cardigans, blazers, and other things to remove the highlight of the butt has resolved things to the point that the spirit that convicted me is satisfied.

It's sad that there is no teaching via a message from the pulpit, or even from mature (spiritually) women in Christ to come alongside and guide new Believers or even younger women who are coming to places of worship. When I recommitted my life to Christ as a younger woman, I'm grateful that the Holy Spirit himself begin to speak to me about how I was dressing, because honestly I think a well-meaning over zealous person in the church would have said something to me not being Guided by the Holy Spirit would have had me feeling some type of way, and that's why I use the word spiritually mature.

It's not just your women it's other races as well. What drives me bonkers is at my church (im white)some of the women who are in ministry positions wear tight leggings showing every bump and lump (and trust me they're not all skinny) and 4-5 inch heels. There are two older a-a women (ones dead, the other no longer goes to a different church since her husband died) who attended my church (pentecostal, ethnic--white, African American and African (cameroon, West africa) and I loved how they dressed! I always looked forward to seeing what they wore, and they would wear those amazing African prints. But it wasn't just what they wore, but it was how they carried themselves; they had charisma and they walked like they owned the place. And I didn't ever see other women carry themselves like that at church.

This is right on time. Some of us are so old in God, that we now have NO excuse for this type of foolishness. One time when I was younger in God, I had some thigh high boots on, I had tight pants on and a shawl covering my shoulders and behind. I thought I was ok... Well, in the bathroom one of the older women handed me a safety pin to close my shawl, and with her eyes wide open she said, "Those sure are some high boots, baby 😌😳" She didn't even have to TELL me that was way too much and inappropriate for Sunday Service. I thought I was cute 🤣🤣🤣 I blushed all the way back to the sanctuary! Never again!!! I thank God for the Mothers of the church! 😇💖

I love, love, love this series it changed my life. I had just gotten out of a long relationship that was going no where. An older lady told me about the series no more sheets. I ordered the series and I let her words minister to me in my car, the house even at work. I would listen over and over again. I was celibate for 3 years and ended up meeting my husband and we been married for 11 years. When I meet him I let him know, there will be no sleeping together. I have a vision and I respect my body and I value it. I thank you so, so, so much. I have been telling women for years about the no more sheets series, but most don't want to hear the truth. All I can do is pray one day they will wake up and realize that are body is valuable.
