Really good to see an up to date video of all of this stuff. I would argue some of these aren’t really “techs” per se and more just general attributes of balls kit, but still great knowledge for anyone learning the character. This will be the default video I send people when they ask about learning ball tech.

the most important boop trick to know is the strafe boop or I call it "wall reset" since they nerfed double boop, running into a wall in a way that keeps your momentum can reset the boop and allow you to hit them again. this works in SO many maps and in SO many places

Hitting the wall does not reset the boop timer. Using a wall can make strafe boop easier, but the wall changes nothing. I use the wall all the time when I strafe boop, but I don't have to.

How did you do the straight w key flat wall jump? I thought you had to press s in order to gain enough height for the pile driver. Also, could you explain how the LOS boop for pole works?

Pressing S is just more consistent, allows you to use piledriver to get onto a ledge better and kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZamgWaAaZahqtksi=JMGZlTYJNjdr2eeZ

new to ball and looking to learn some of this tech, do you have scroll wheel up bound to jump? and do you have any other binds that make hamster easier?

Scroll wheel is jump and I use the melee button to retract (preference).

great video ,but you forgot player elevation i think and is there a timing for the false ball or how does it work?

I didn't think player elevation worked, but I'll try to see if it does. For false ball, you have to get slept while fireball grappling and be woken up while holding slam. (There is probably another way to do it)

I checked, it is. Put the grapple at around the center and go in at an angle. Jump in and hold the grapple till you are high enough to stop holding it.
