Fun Fact: the more meta/popular a hero is, the more predictable they are with their movement/strategies/playstyles. This means that underestimating non meta heroes is always a thing and you can use it to your advantage. That's one reason why it feels good winning and mastering non meta heroes.

As her former main, yes she is one of the most predictable heroes and yes i dont find her really thick if she cant stick to all her targets and she doesnt have a blink skill to dodge the incoming skills so its pretty easy tto hit and kill her .Not sure how can she contribute to the team bcz all esme players i see are feeders bcz of her complex ingame decisions

Plus u need really good calculations before engaging in a teamfight and sometimes its just not possible if u go in its an immediate suicide . Desperately needs a buff yes might agree to this , buff her shield a little so she can face antiheal in the late game , and yeah so many freakin counterss like cc, and yep insane slowdown like yve , plus consistent dps damage ( basically all marksmen which are her weakness in late game, in late game god its so hard to engage especialky against a beatrix or claude or karrie no matter what defense u have they melt u like butter ), and finally my biggest nightmares thamuz dyrroth and might add khaleed and helcurt ( tho not picked often) . Plus imo her mobility isnt that insane its just okya i hope this mvt speed doesnt decay over time bcz mages are easily escaping from my grasp . I dont know why the mlbb community overrating her while she really needs a buff and ye SHE ISNT OP otherwise we wont encounter so many esme feeders un rank game .

I think my sec main, alice should get buff cuz her ultimate lifesteal are so small, they should at least made it 150 lifesteal in early game cuz she is really weak in early game, at least she will be a bit hard to kill in early game, except fir burst hero ofc. its her ultimate but even ruby have much more lifesteal than that

This is the first hero that I purchased when I started playing ML back then. I struggled a lot before and had my fair share of being bursted by assassins and being ganked most often since cyclops is a bit squishy. Now he is still my go-to hero as I learned how to play him properly and maximized his strength. You know that you're playing him right when those heroes that used to target you are now fleeing when you're approaching near. There are still some matches that I don't get that many kills, but what's important to me is my overall contribution (setting up for others to kill the enemy heroes, pushing the lanes and destroying the turrets, using my ult at times to help my teammates to escape when being chased at low health, helping with the turtle/lord when it is necessary.) Afterall winning the match bec of those little things is still more satisfying. Also worth noting that you know you're playing well when even your enemies are commending you at the end of the match.

I'm confused. Who thinks *CYCLOPS* is useless?? If you've been a long time player, you'll know his pretty good. Edit: Ok. I said Cyclops is good. Not op. The game has some op characters. So they are obviously better picks than him(unless you main him). I think people these days confuse 'good' with 'op'. And Cyc definitely isn't auto lose. He's not early game. Once you get 1-2 items you're set. Not being broken also makes it fulfilling to play him.

Cyclops is different from most mages, he's a sustain type of mage, most mages are burst type, that's why most players don't use him. He's a really good mage tho, my fav. Easy to learn, but hard to master.

Who says Cyclops is useless? He is one of the most powerful mages, who can overpower the whole enemy team all alone, if played right. And he is also versatile. You can go full CD, full damage, burst damage or even buy some tanky items and you won't notice a difference in his performance.

Didnt know Cyclops was considered a troll pick. Ive always found him decent if not strong. Yes he can be easily counterjungled but once he gets going he is very useful. His ultimate is great initiator or to scare targets. Also nice visual indicator for your team to jump on target :D

What I like about cyclops is that he is one of the balance heroes in MLBB. He can be good or bad. He is both difficult and easy at the same time.But players always see him as an easy to use hero, since you can actually just spam the skill and go circle. Which is the wrong understanding for me because this hero literally requires mastery just to see his full potential. And for me, mastering balance heroes like cyclops are more satisfying than those op or new release heroes.

cyclops is pretty useless early game like cecilion. i believe it’s because people is underwhelmed by his lack of Cc and need 2 core items while needing a third item to deal damage (talisman and conc energy core items, genius wand mid game for damage).

It really depends on ur teammates and ur enemies so I would say he isn't good for soloq as most of them don't play to ur strengths but rather theirs and expect u to keep up no matter wich hero u r playing. But in a 3 or 5 man team u will be more coordinated and play tu ur teams strengths

Cyclops damage early is very pain. Could be an assassin.

If you can keep him ahead of the curve he can become a juggernaut mage/statcheck mage. He will regen too much to poke, deal too much damage even for tanks to ignore and have too much base defense to assassinate. Its all about getting ahead and avoiding hard cc. If you are behind though the short skill 2 range and limited burst without skill 2will be his downfall.

He is simple to play but his positioning and map awareness along with build adjustments to maximise his potential do need long time to be learnt and mastered! For ex. When your team already has a reap damage hero, you can build ice queen, and genius wand and necklace of durance to act more as a support, and it helps a lot more in team fights compared to usual concen energy, divine glaive, holy crystal build,

The thing is cyclops was never bad but that there are many other options for the current meta like xavier, valentina, yve, kagura and etc. Plus I don’t really see cyclops as a jungler but more of a midlaner tho it is quite underrated. Edit: Also I noticed that the ‘meta’ heroes have either good poke or high mobility which cyclops has but can’t really compete with the other midlaners.

I have a tip for cyclops jungle Equip full cd on emblem When jungling, always swipe your basic attack button to the large blue buff. Get a roamer to achieve less than 30 second buff

I actually started using cyclops because of betosy but gahnd damn he's so good overall, the damage output you can cycle back with his skills since the cooldown and u can spam ult whenever u want could be used for intimidating enemies or just simply poking, i use him esp u dont really need to aim.
