honestly, things in the 80s were great hun, but it wasn’t the best. towards the 90s in the fall of the USSR, we began to fall apart and we were divided by it. there was also a lot of sexism and racism. negatives in every part i guess

Growing up in the 80’s was awesome! We were able to experience great music, movies, and had actual childhoods. Your friends were the kids in your neighborhood. We walked or rode bikes unsupervised. We only watched cartoons on Saturday mornings then played with our friends outside all day! We would go to the mall, movies, parks, arcade or just walk the main avenue to socialize. We recorded our favorite music on cassette tapes then listed to the recording on our Walkman. We only had a few tv stations until cable was introduced. We had to walk everywhere as our our parents never drove us to any activities, helped us with our homework, or did anything to entertain us. They fed us, gave us shelter, clothes, a few toys, and that was just fine with us 😃
