I listened to this video a lot last summer. It was my last trip with my dear cousin. He passed away mid march. Back during that trip then I fell into depression and cried a lot. He came and visited us later during that summer, the last time I saw him. I’m listening to this now after this last depression that came it being the deepest one I’ve ever felt, and I really feel like being happy again! I want to go draw again, and chase my goals again, this time around it’s all about love, not cause it’s the right thing to do. I’m ready to go chase happiness again. I love you Aarush.

For some reason this is the song that has helped me through my mourning after I lost my best friend this year, to cancer. It was cruel, unexpected and out of nowhere, she was only 4 days away from her 9th birthday. I never got the chance to say goodbye. After her passing, I could barely stay home, if I did all I would do is cry. I couldn't and still can't talk about her. So I'd go out on long bike rides and this is the song that was always the one being blasted in my earbuds over and over again. I think back to our younger years when I was a kid and she was a clumpsy little puppy. I remember those hot summer days when we would play hide and seek and she'd always find me. The way she'd go to bed only when I did. Or how she'd crawl and be in my lap despite her being a big rottweiler. If I was sad, she'd kiss my face until I was screaming with laughter and only then would she stop. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't miss her, but this song helps me through the pain. I still cry, but whenever this song comes on I am suddenly a child again. It's summer and she's still here with me, waiting for me to join her downstairs.
