Except for one thing; electrons flow out of the negative side of the power source and flow through the circuit towards the positive side of the battery. The graphic animation is actually called "hole current" or the path of positive potential (which doesn't actually move through the circuit). Real current is the flow of negatively charged electrons moving towards the potential attraction of the positive side of the power source. Any actual EE student is taught "electron flow" or "electron current". You learn to look at current backwards from 98% of KZbin videos that tend to show and explain positive potential as "current flow". Nothing changes on the way a circuit works, but understanding real current flow makes it easier to understand the difference between NPN and PNP transistors and how they work.

It looks pretty cool but the way of indicating current is misleading. Current always move to the same speed regardless the amount of electrons involved. Would it be possible to change this or clarify the concept? Thanks

@EduardoSaavedraWDF5 жыл бұрын
You are right, but the conventional current is the one used for circuit analysis, and this takes the direction of the movement of the positive charges displaced due to the flow of electrons that causes a voltage drop.

Ok. So, if you make a circuit, is there a way to see if the circuit has the correct componentry and works before making the same circuit on a board and make it operative to see if it works. There is no use drawing a circuit if it doesn't work, is there?

Where in the hell do you find the values you use for mosfets? I don't see a single one of the parameters you use for a mosfet anywhere on any datasheet. I also can't seem to find any documentation for the program anywhere on your website. So how in the @$^@^ is someone supposed to figure out how to put in components compatible with real world items when you don't include instructions and don't include recognizable values or units?

how do you search for a part?
@claystudiofx8 жыл бұрын
why is It not like a real life simulation ? for example : simple circuit, dc power and resistor . If i measure the voltage across the resistor , it should show that the voltage should drop close to 0V while i use very very small ohm resistor (like almost to behave like close circuit without resistor). I usually use 123circuit which behave like real one.
@slap_my_hand7 жыл бұрын
claystudiofx A 5v power source will always give you 5v. It doesn't matter what load (resistor value) you put on the output. A constant current source will give you a different voltage for every load you put on the output. If you set it to 1 amp and you put a 1 ohm resistor on the output, the resistor will drop 1 volt. But if you switch the resistor to 10 ohms, it will drop 10 volts. The voltage drop also depends on the source impedance, but most simulators don't simulate that.
