I think we have a similar hair type and what made the difference for me in being able to wear my hair curly was actually my haircut. Check out the Ouidad salons in NY. My hair still looks great with a blowout but now I have the option to go curly without a frizzy mess. Also love the tip for how to blow out the very top layer...I always mess that up and need to use a flat iron.

I can get my hair dry in 9 minutes if I rush, more like 12 if I'm doing a thorough job... and curl under 10! So start to finish ~20 minutes.

Love the video! I am definitely going to try your techniques. I was the same way through school, attacking my frizzy hair with a straight iron. Do you feel like your hair is healthier now that you're blow drying/curling more? And do you recommend any products for hair growth/strengthening post straight-iron use spree?
