Everyday life in Thailand: Uncut Vlog Day #1

Just for fun I'm going to release 7 days of fairly unedited vlogs about everyday life in Pattaya, Thailand. My life here is simple, with a lot of the day spent trouble-shooting expat hurdles and trying to make a buck here and there. I guess I'll return to the big dazzling blockbusters next week..
Day #1 features;
- starting the day at Jomtien Immigration office
- fixing a broken motor scooter
- a visit to Tactics&Guns with a good friend from Melbourne, Australia.
This venue is about a 30 minute drive outside of Pattaya and is exceptionally well run. Packages start around 3500baht and I was able to chime in to Michael's package for only 900baht by buying some 'extra' ammo. This was the first time I've done something like this and my take-home lesson afterwards was - it's really scary and I'd never want to be on the receiving end of one of these. The experience was loud and basically a little scary.

I’m jealous you got to get in the Huey! There is one at the air and space museum near my house with bullet holes and all but it’s roped off so you can’t get close to it. My dad was in the Vietnam war so I’ve always been fascinated with anything related to it.

great video. good shots (camera not weapon XD) and interesting topics. i almost didn't watch it tho because of the title. i already live everyday life in Thailand lol.. the views might be higher if you added the main destination in the title and thumb. shooting guns is pretty rare in Thailand except in the tourist spots. getting your bike tuned was cool too.

l got this out of my system as an ex military Canadian. My father was also a weapons collector and shooter. 9 mil, 38, 357, 44, 45 caliber hand guns. Sub-machine guns, rifles of all calibers. Fully and semi automatic rifles and machine guns. Not one person killed. These are a tool like any other tool. The mind behind them is the weapon. Have fun. PS. I'm in Jomtien. Hi Sam & Lovely Lele, Great Vlog I’ve got to put that shooting range on my list this time when I arriving in June looks like a lot of serious fun never shoot a real gun ever except when I was playing cowboys and Indians in my full cowboy outfit as a kid 😂. The reason for the lack of power was a clog exhaust pipe with shoot & carbon building up slowly over time. Hope to catch up in June. Keep up the great work Cheers Irish Paul

As Irish Paul mentioned somewhere above - possibly carbon build-up affecting the air flow? Some baffle came flying out when prodded. Ironically, it's really really loud now - which makes me feel guilt for my neighbours when I come home at night now!

@@GoneAdrift I hear ya on feeling guilty , … before I sold my Harley I used to shut it off and coast down my street and into my driveway in neuteral when I got home after 11:00 at night , unfortunately for me I have a neighbor now that starts his Harley up at 4:30 am and let’s it idle in his driveway for twenty minutes before going into work , his kids have those loud mufflers on their cars and race up and down our dead end street, and his wife sits out by the pool all day cranking loud music,… oh,.. and did I forget to mention, he has two huge spot lights on the side of his house that he keeps on all night facing right at his neighbors houses
