Not gonna lie but this was one of the best things about Jamaica. They are soo friendly and definitely not like other places where u will get bothered 24/7 to buy something. Everything and everyone was a vibe

The parasailing guys worked that beach for 30 years. The fruit lady 'Any Fruuuit ' ! Gem was a great hardworker, many good chats with her. Id buy lots of fruit off her to lighten her load, then give it away. She strolled that beach with a heavy basket on her head plus bags on her arms, we'd walk chat n cool off with drinks. Miss those days. 😊

The beach is not seven miles. The Negril beach is actually just over 4 miles long. It's almost exactly 7 kilometers long. I set my odometer to zero on the bridge by the roundabout. It was 4.3 miles to the entrance to Hedonism the last hotel on the beach I believe. Royalton is on Bloody Bay.

It's not like that at every beach and not along yhe whole length of Negril beach. In fact the beach by my villa at Duncans Bay Beach in Trelawny on the North Coast is away from the tourist trap and most of my guests love how on "most days" they have the beach to themselves.
