Please explain to me how firearms ( rifles especially) have become the big issue. Children since the inception of this country have carried rifles. Only in modernity do we have mass shoutings. What has changed? Think about it!! It’s NOT the weapon. It’s the mentality of our youth. Our people ( all ages) on a whole have more time on their hands. Life is all about conveniences. We have become more intelligent and less wise. It’s not the firearm. It’s the lack of valuing a humans life. I can go on and on. Look I don't care how many laws you pass restricting gun ownership. There will ALWYAS be a way to get around them if you're a BAD PERSON intent on doing EVIL. SO, our #1 thought to keep in mind when thinking about new gun laws is "Does this law ONLY restrict or hinder BAD GUYS from doing bad things by obtaining this weapon? Any law that makes it much more difficult for a bad guy to obtain a gun is good. IF they do NOT restrict GOOD GUYS from buying and defending themselves with that weapon. Doing so would make it a CLEAR VIOLATION of the 2nd Amendment..
