Note to watchers: This was filmed 6 years ago so some aspects have been renamed. For example `guix environment`, although still exists, is now `guix shell` in the context presented here. Also the distribution is now called `Guix System` instead of `GuixSD`.

Very interesting, only thing I'm concerned about with Guix is that it uses the libre-linux kernel, remove some proprietary blobs, that has huge security improvements, Believe it mainly deals with Intel chips.

Getting regular linux kernel (and linux-firmware) from nonguix is quite straightforward to do.

It can be run with the linux kernel. Guix is the name of the pacman aswell as the distro. Driver support should not be a worry if you use the regular linux kernel.
