I definitely want the Byredo quint! I wear Smokey eyes a lot. I wear them day or night, office or a night out. Much like a red lip, I think that Smokey eyes can be worn anywhere as long as the person has the confidence to do so. This looks amazing on you!! Wear it to the grocery store - it is honestly stunning!

❤️Thank you! This palette is definitely one that's set up differently than other palettes, no obvious placement based on the shades. I think the placement for me was informed by the textures as well as the shades.

I'd be really curious to see how the sisley highlighter pen would work over the eye concealer. Not with the sponge but with a small brush like the way you use the la prairie. Beautiful look!

❤️Thanks for the request! Funny enough, I went to try to use it this morning and somehow the sponge is ripped and about to fall off. I'm not sure exactly what I did for it to look like that, but I may have to use a brush with it from now on since the applicator isn't in tact.

@@EverydayEdit Interesting. I seem to recall others having the same problem when I was looking at reviews. I went ahead and ordered it as I always intended to use it with a brush anyway. I have and love the eye concealer and like that the corresponding color of the pen is slightly lighter and thinner. I think/hope that this will make it perfect to go over just the darkest part of my circles. Fingers crossed!

❤️Hi, Laura! Great question. I definitely don't wash the brush every time I use it. The great thing about that one is that it doesn't absorb a lot of product, so even after a week, it doesn't require that much work to clean. Ah yes! #1eye1cheek1lip 😄I've got to get back to that once these new releases slow down a bit. Love your smokey sultry eye look! I keep looking at that palette but can't see me wearing it often. Black eye shadow on the whole eye lid look great but kinda intimidate me. Also like the Metal in Boots palette.

❤️Thank you! Yes, I agree this is an intimidating palette. I was really unsure of how to use it until I swatched it, and then feeling the textures kind of informed where everything would go. Since that deepest shade was creamy I thought it would work best closest to the eye - not needing much blending. And the more powdery shades were the ones I decided to blend further out. Same for the center shade. It also is creamy - so I just wanted to place it without moving it around too much.

❤️Great question! They are very different than the Dior quints. The Dior quints are soft, but more powdery than the Byredo. The Byredo palettes have certain shades that are almost a cream formula and then some shades, like the glitter are completely dry.
