I'm Native American too and my father is commanche from Chickasha, Oklahoma but have family from Lawton, Oklahoma while my mom is Cherokee. My half sister Linda is Chactow from her mom's side which I don't have. I agree with you it is nice that native Americans are being respected. For years, that's what tribes wanted and they wanted to be recognized. They always be remembered. 🥰❤️

My dad was born in Pitcher OK. in 1923. He left there when he was 7. I don’t think anything affected him though, because he lived until he was 84. He died from a blood clot in his leg that traveled to his heart.

I’m just now watching and I had to comment before the vid started! I’m 4 hours away from Picher! It makes me ridiculously happy you came to Oklahoma. You definitely should come visit again! I believe there’s a hotel in Oklahoma City that’s known for being haunted. It’s called the Skirvin Hotel. There’s many more places you can search online too.

Thank you for sharing this history with us, how very sad to see such devastation primarily caused by man himself! No I would not want to live there once the land has been cleared up, it would be a very long time after this I would even consider it. Omar you are scary because, as Tiph was saying, there seems to be a ver curious child like quality in you that really does want to get out and explore lol. Great video, thank you guys 🧡💜

Ay Omar! And Tiff! This is so enlightening! Ik what it is to deal with " Sink Holes" since I moved to Maryland in mid eighties, we've had numerous " Sink Holes" around the state! As well as an area I lived in a few years ago, Owings Mills on a road right next to the Mall, and unfortunately an older man ended up driving into it, and lost his life! So crazy! Also TY, for the history of our Native Americans! Best wishes!
