Ive had the idea of spray painting them gold, attaching them to the wall to use as curtian tie backs. Anthropology has some that reminded me of the shape of the DT napkin holders.

You can also zip tie two together and use them to store cutting boards in your cabinet as well, that’s what I ended up doing bc I was tired of my cutting boards falling all the time.

I bought some to make paint holders and I didn't like the way the paint kept falling out whenever I took one out. I ended up taking it apart and attached them side by side on a length of scrap wood and now they hold all my cookie sheets and cooling racks.

I use mine in my art room to hold canvases, sketch books etc. Or to hold scrapbook paper, cardstock. I tried hanging them on the wall with command hooks...bad idea. The command hooks wouldn't stay stuck!

Thank you!! This will be perfect for creating an eyeshadow palette holder for my bathroom vanity. I don't have any drawers in the vanity, so because the palettes are large, I have to store makeup in the big, shelf-less cabinet under the sink. You can also take a Dollar Tree food cutting mat, the plastic ones, cut to desired shape and hole punch holes to attach zip ties to the mat and napkin holder. This gives it a sort of solid bottom so stuff does not fall out of the bottom. So if you wanted to use it for nail polish that is a bit smaller than the opening you now have a bottom to keep the nail polish in place.

They also work as roling pin holders. It prevents it from rolling on the floor when you put it down. You can also use it to store the rolling pin on a wall - just put a screw or hook in to hold the napkin holder and then lift it off the wall when in use. I use two napkin holders for my french rolling pin.

You can make WALL SCONCES from them too and they look adorable! Buy Dollar tree wood shelf and mount a napkin holder at the top and one napkin holder at the bottom. Cover the backside of a dollar tree placement with whatever pretty contact paper you want to use and the wrap it around the napkin holders and secure it to the back of the wood board/shelf. Attach a puck light (remote or battery) to it and Bam your done!

i have an idea.. you could use it in your bathroom to hold your curling iron.. put one of those mats under it for hot tools and put you curling iron in it while using or until it cools off and you can put it away. :o)

Is your name really “Kallie”? That is my firstborn daughter’s name! My great grandma’s name was “Callie”, but we changed the spelling with a “k” because my mom spelled all us kids with a “K”. Kenneth, Kathy and Kerry. Ours is “Kallie, Kollin and Krystal”.

They aren't very well balanced - so if you use it to hold something taller than the top rail, it should have something to lean against.

You can find super pretty, interesting, vintage napkin holders at thrift stores and yard sales, too. Cheaper than dollar tree most of the time. And if you don't want to use zip ties, wrap wire that matches the metal. Could use jewelry wire...it's really inexpensive. The book holder hanging on the wall is genius! Oh my God!!! And the kitchen utensil holder!!!

Cute! I thought about rolled towels/washcloths. Secure the bottom to the wall and shove a rolled towel in them, you can stack them too. Also when I saw the paint storage I wanted to flip it on its side so I could just pluck out my paint/whatever like a pen cup.

Hang it off the wall, either as it would normally sit, or hang it up jutting outwards and drop your broom down into it with the handle at the bottom. Now it's a broom holder...add some "s" hooks and hang up a feather duster, or a dust rag, etc.
