haha. reminded me of a story my boss told me. His dad is from Italy and came over to America in the early 60’s. worked construction. so when my boss was in his teens, his father took him to work with him on weekend and on school breaks. He would tell my boss if you don’t get an education this will be your life. My bosses job with his father when he was a teen, lifting buckets with ropes filled with bricks from the ground all the way up to the top floors of buildings. Much like this video on how the lady pulls the bucket back up..lol. He works in IT Technology now. He got his education..lol

first off many old grandmas do this uptown nyc, they usually sell food or icys for the summer and since they're old like they're not gonna go downstairs and up the stairs so most of the time they used a bucket and their fire escape to send things down and second you can make that sandwich at home lol she just gave us the ingredients or get it for $5-$7 at the deli store
