I haven’t done as well at old navy ever since they changed their sizing. Their stuff fit me better before. It’s like it’s not really cut for people with curves any more. I’m sorry nothing worked, but it helps the rest of us feel like it’s not just us. And yes…I find things are way huge or too tight and nothing is just right.

I bought quite few dresses there last summer but nothing was tight fitting. I did wear 3x. Now I will have to go smaller because I’ve lost 50 lbs. I am currently trying not to buy too too much because of continuing to lose. (A good problem)

My problem with Old Navy is the sizing - I have everything from a medium to a 2x! And even when I see something online I might consider, it’s never available in my local stores. And online and returns is exhausting! Thanks for trying!

Thanks for this video Taren! You are so right. Old Navy is so hit or miss. It's gotten so pricey if it's not on sale. I appreciate you and what you do Taren. I love Old Navy but I mainly purchase the plus tops 2x and size 20 bottoms. Because the 2X+ is a roomier fit than an XXL. If you hold them up and compare, they have extra fabric in the bust area, sleeves are usually wider at the top, more give in the shoulders and a lot of times longer between the shoulder and bust area. But I will say depending on the style and fabric I size up to 3x top. Anything is linen, poplin, seersucker or 100% cotton i size up unless it's called "boyfriend" fit. Except the tanks and tees i get a better fit with XXL cuz I'm short.. Also, you can get lots of jeans in long length online. So check fit in store then order online. I have the overalls, in my size. I feel you on the plus size availability / store ratio. I've been very disappointed in Old Navy and Kohls for quite some time, and I don't feel like spending the money at Lane Bryant or Torrid. So frustrating, but appreciate your videos!

I'm disappointed that they don't have more options in the plus sizes. They did that big advertising campaign... now they pulled back and don't have a big selection in larger sizes. What a bummer! Thanks for sharing your "haul" because that's the reality of plus size shopping!

I got that puffy sleeve rap too in the green plaid. I wear it with a cami. I get lots of compliments when I wear it. I have had very little luck at old navy otherwise

I love Old Navy but seem to only get occasional pieces there. I, too, feel their jeans run small. Those overalls come in lots of plus sizes online if you want to go take a look. And that pretty black keyhole top. . . . I just ordered it. Can't wait to see if it fits me when it gets here.

Aww-most of us have had similar experiences where nothing works - I have the linen shorts from a couple of years ago from Old Navy and some of the older dresses that I really like but the last time I went I couldn’t find anything I liked on me and I wanted to get more linen shorts but the sizing on the new ones last year was totally different and the fit was not working like the older linen shorts- oh well…just one of those days- you always look great and are an encouragement ❤

I hate when I go in with high hopes and nothing fits, such a bummer. I did like the pink bodysuit on you. I shopped Old Navy on Black Friday online. Spent $65, got a pair of sweat pants, jeans and cords and a $5 pair of pj pants. The sizing was all over the place. The sweat pants were a 3x, I had the exact same style and size in a different color I bought in September. The super stretchy pants wouldn't even pull up all the way. Jeans in what was always my normal size 26 were way small. Cords in size 26 fit but I could pull them up to my bra. I have a long torso. Even pulled up that far at 5'6 I'd probably have had to get them hemmed at least 3 inches. The pj's are not great but for $5 they were the only thing I kept. I don't think I will try them again for a while. They definitely have been off on sizing since they started the all sizes in store. Best thing I've gotten there the last 2 years is nude bike shorts, just love them under dresses.

Hi!!! I’m binge watching some of your videos!!! I see I need a pair of faux black pants. The top you had on with the keyhole looked so nice with them!!! I don’t love Old Navy… I think they are expensive for what we get. Like you said that dress was adorable but not worth the $. If it were me I’d over pay if I absolutely loved it. Like in general. I’m sorry you left empty handed 💔. It’s definitely hit or miss with them. I was actually waiting in the parking lot for my daughter like 3 weeks ago. I still love Maurices! They have a nice plus size department and they have talls, you can order online, free shipping over $50 and always great sales. Never been a huge Old Navy lover😉

Hi Taren, I feel like the in store selection for plus sizes in my area is shrinking too. It makes me sad too. Old Navy is not my usual go to for shopping. I go in maybe twice a year? I think I only have one item that I over the top loved from there and that was a wool car coat that I got for under 50.00. I have worn the heck out of that coat. There is nothing worse than going into a fitting room with a pile of possibilities and coming out empty handed.

You are not alone. I swear Old Navy has completely changed their fits and sizing. An XXL used to fit to the point of being to big. Now, they are to small. They used to be a staple for me and now I can barely find a thing!

Old Navy bums me out more often than it makes me happy. The sizing is very inconsistent. I also was not thrilled with their 180 on their size inclusivity campaign. I can't wait for your new brand hauls. I didn't know Francesca's had a plus section. Yay!

It was a great effort. I found them hit or miss. I my area, Annapolis,it’s ok. When I go to the Philadelphia area to visit family, it great. Much more plus sizes.

I always enjoy your videos fail or not. I am the same size as you and I use to like ON but now I have to wear 22 because everything is so snug. I bought a nice pair of jeans short last summer size 22. I am Size 20 or 18 with stretch. a bit discouraging. In Québec Canada here, there is almost no plus size store except Reitmans and Penningtons for old maid clothes. I am 53 and not that in a mood for old flower style. Continue your good work it is 17 degrees F here so enjoy your super hot weather...

Thank you for being honest. It's not easy to find things that fit us well and make us feel good. I don't know if you have tried Catherine's or not. They are online only but there are also Roman's, Woman Within, Jessica London and several other plus size clothing stores available on their website.

Catherine’s I find to be one size larger than I am often ,which can get expensive with shipping charges nowadays. I would order more often from onestopplus if it weren’t for that reason. Miss trying on things instore too,Old Navy is a lesson in frustration for me though.

I'm only not disappointed with Old Navy when I buy their clothes on clearance, since I don't expect much out of an $8 item. The sizing is ridiculous. Currently in my closet I have dresses in sizes L through 2x and I can wear all of them. And I know I am not a size L in any other store, I'm a 2x. Also, in the past when buying jean shorts I have to size up at least one size. Even when I could comfortably wear old navy size 12 jeans I would buy size 16 shorts. Size 14 would be too small and the 16s would be a little loose.

My favorite joggers are from ON in XXL. Got the same pair on Saturday in a different color in 2x (they didn't have XXL) and the fit is much smaller! So disappointed! Their sizing is definitely wonky!

I don’t like going in store. I did buy the Wow jeans in store. Everything else I order on line. They have a lot of things I don’t like. It’s mainly jeans, bike shorts, and leggings I buy from them. I just went to my local old navy. I’m in Canada but here I find that their bottoms to be small on my waist and huge on my legs. I’m a true Apple shape however. I’m not sure if others are finding that also.

I ordered several items form old navy over the past few months and have not been completely happy with anything. The sweat shirts I ordered in XL - the sleeves are short. The pants I order in size 16 all seem like different sizes- some are loose and some are tight. 😢

I don't like the universal sizing they went to when they did away with true plus sizes. There's never enough hip room. Also, I like my tops in a longer length and now they land right before my lower stomach which massively accents it instead of trying to lengthen the torso for a slimming effect. I will say that you need to watch the sizing on the tops because there is a very big difference between XXL and 2X. They are not the same fit at all.

yeah, that's unfortunately ON for ya. I've ordered many items and some i love and wear all the time and they fit well, and othersss.... fit weird or the fabric is wonky. weirdly enough they usually run big but i don't buy the jeans. good to know the jeans run small. i also live in the South and i just don't wear jeans cs it's always hot.

Old Navy is notorious for cutting the XXL larger than a 2/3X. That’s why I chose XXL. Everyone is now saying they’ve changed the way they size their clothes 🤷‍♀️

Old Navy clothes are very overpriced for the cheaper quality. I have only ever purchased anything marked down to $2-$3. Try Dillards-I think they have a great plus size department and better quality clothes.

Sadly I’ve never been a big fan of old navy. The only time I ever found anything that fit and looked cute was for my daughter, who is not plus size. I know a lot of people love them, but I’ve really never found anything for me that really fit right. That’s just my opinion…
