I never hated Tiff, but this was still pretty insightful. I will mention I think the character arc is actually a very easy thing to miss, because considering the show's status as a 100 episode saturday morning monster of the week show, most of us have probably seen it's episodes out of order, or missed episodes because we didn't wake up fast enough (okay to be fair most of the show's dislikers probably didn't watch it on 4kids like I did) so it wasn't something as easy to catch. But to be fair I never complained about her "not changing" or whatever, so I guess it just didn't occur to me. I think the autism diagnosis is news to me too. I mean I am autistic, so I guess I just saw Tiff being fixated with specific things in specific episodes as normal and didn't question it. She was always the trendsetter of the town too, introducing them to stuff, coming up with activities to further unite them, and she was always on really good terms with the townsfolk. I guess I didn't really particularly relate to that part since I'm more the non social type of autism, I could never bring a town together if I tried. The limited facial expression I can relate to though actually, I never heard that was an autism thing growing up so I always thought it was just a me thing.
@ivoryvt21 күн бұрын
I personally want to defend Kirby's anime portrayal a bit though. Kirby does a lot more than just be a hungry toddler in the show. Some of my favorite episodes of the show are the ones that give Kirby more of a center stage. Those episodes are the Robot Pet episode, the Chilly episode, and the Galbo episode. The last of which is my favorite episode of the show entirely. I think one of my favorite things about Kirby in this adaptation is that despite Kirby being more childish and cute here than he's normally portrayed, this Kirby actually prefers others looking up to him. Kirby genuinely likes being the role model, and he shows this numerous times throughout the show. The aforementioned episodes are probably the biggest examples of this. I dunno maybe it's just me, but I believe this Kirby has a character underneath the no speech limitation and I think many misunderstand him.

For me, I kinda have....weird opinions towards Tiff. lol I do get annoyed with her when she's being particularly bossy and aggressive towards some of the more minor characters. However, in some weird way that I likely won't explain well, that's kinda why I like her character. Being the more intelligent one with an aggravated character is kinda her shtick. It's what makes her Tiff! If you really toned her down and made her more calm and patient, she wouldn't be herself. To an extent, I find her agitated tone kinda charming. It's especially understandable when she's onto Dedede's schemes. The whole autism thing I feel is a pretty broad statement. Sure, your claims on her personality and actions may hold some water. But autism comes in many forms and characteristics. Not every autistic person is the same as the other. I know because being put in Special Ed during my school years, I've had to be around a lot of people on the spectrum. You're kinda putting a whole label on a character or person based off only a few traits. The truth of the matter is that there's never been any official statement, acknowledgement or confirmation that yes, Tiff is officially autistic. So saying it was all definitely intentional doesn't hold much water in that regard. That's not to say that people shouldn't have their own ideal versions of a character. It's perfectly okay if you and other people want to put your own headcanons and aspects onto a character to better engage with said character! I love seeing different interpretations of a single character! But people gotta realize (not just you) that not everybody is going to agree or see eye-to-eye with them. Especially when you assume that your claims are officially canon or,"Intentional." 12:06 Also, implying fans who simply don't like the character are essentially ablest pricks is another broad and kinda insensitive statement.. As stated prior, not every autistic person is the same or has all of the exact same qualities you listed. You can dislike a fictional character who acts one way, but not necessarily hate other real people who may act similar. Not everybody who doesn't see eye-to-eye with you is the bad guy. Just to be super clear, I'm not saying you're wrong for liking this character and I'm NOT trying to be a hater. I just wanted to give my own criticisms about the video itself.

And I'm very thankful for that! I did say in the outro that the video was full of a lot of emotional baggage that influenced how I wrote and worded things, and the claim I made about her autism being intentional, and the abelism jab afterwards, is definitely one of the parts that suffers from that. I will freely admit that I may have gotten a little too carried away in that section, and I'll be sure to avoid that as best I can in the future. I commented before but, this is take 2. I love this video even if I disagree with parts of it. While I also read Fumu/Tiff as autistic because I relate to her a lot as a girl who was undiagnosed for 20 years until recently, to say it was intentional is a bit strange to me. 4Kids was terrified of any POTENTIAL “controversial” topics and in the original show, well, it’s rare in anime that characters are written to be that way, especially in the early 2000s. This is to say I 100% think it was unintentional. However, this doesn’t invalidate the reading at all. The example of this type of thing happening without it being intentional today would be a character from Dungeon Meshi called Laios. It seems to have been a complete accident, according to the author of the series. But does that make the read invalid? As far as I’m aware, assuming characters are all allistic is also just people having internal headcanons! I agree on basically every reason why she feels so autistic. I just don’t for second believe it’s intentional. Anyways, onto a small other thing. Please, don’t only blame Sakurai for the problems with Kirby’s character entirely. While it’s true he put these rules in place, this dude was protective. At the time, there were only some well executed shows showing the main silent videogame protagonists talking, but there were times it was executed very poorly. Also, keep in mind that Sakurai was working himself to the bone to the point of being hospitalized. He did sit in and provide feedback when possible, but really there was the actual show runner, and other writers, all working within a tiny time frame. From what I heard, the episode where they animate an anime is barely an exaggeration of their schedule. So unfortunately, all these decisions made by many people in the pipeline would ultimately trickle down into the show. Damn though…the industry really hasn’t improved on the schedule for over 20 years. Anyway, this is a great video. I look forward to whatever else you have in the works!
@Mixing018 күн бұрын
Yeah, I'll admit, I do rag on Sakurai a little too much here. He gets enough flak from Smash Bros. fans already, he didn't deserve being the butt of so many jokes here. Nothing against him, of course, I don't hate him over this. But, yeah, some more research would've done the video some good there. And, well, despite what I said in the video, I *do* have doubts about her autism-coding being intentional. Looking back, I did just kinda say that without thinking too much about it. That line doesn't even fit with the stuff that comes after it, I never backed up that claim, I just blindly stated it as if it was fact. I probably should've had someone proofread my script, huh... Well, either way, thanks so much for the critique, I really appreciate it, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video despite its flaws!

@ it’s really a good video regardless! I am glad you could take this as constructive criticism. I should upload a video of me reading that argument on my second channel! It was bonkers! If you'd like a story that allows Tiff and Tuff a chance to shine, might I recommend "Kirby: On the Flipside!" by ProminenceFlare on ao3? It's a long crossover fic that brings the gameverse characters up to Star Allies to the animeverse, and not only is it hilarious to watch animeDDD get utterly clowned on by the sheer power difference between the anime and games, but the way Tiff gets to acutally breathe and be a kid? Not having to stress so much about Kirby's safety, not having to watch her town constantly be put in danger, having a whole group of people actually support and help her without switching sides every other episode (the whole cast does her so dirty sometimes) or just standing on the sidelines, and getting the chance to explore interests of her own and do so much more, be able to help Kirby more. The author balances a whole lot of characters (literally everyone from star allies plus the anime), but they do so incredibly well while also letting Tiff and Tuff be the focus and giving them amazing character arcs. All I'm saying is if you want a good, fun read where Tiff gets the glowup she deserves, it's a great read for it! 11/10, would recommend!

To be honest this video on Tiff reminds me of how I feel about a few other characters. Namely Olivia (from TOK), Mable Pines, & even Mickey Mouse himself. With Olivia I've seen some of my past friends claim she was a Mary Sue. Though I can see where there coming from, I'd have to disagree. Reasons why is that she has an actual personality hence her being a naive girl. (Because of the fact in the game she's like what a week old) and she goes through an actual character arc. I will not spoil what it is (YES Origami King is a 4-year-old game but still just in case) that actually tries to give a solid ending. Say what you will about the modern Paper Mario games, but you can't ignore the fact that Olivia in comparison to a large majority of the PM companions actually goes through something & learns from it that lasts till the story is over. I feel like they only call her this because she's a tutorial character. (and those can be very hand holdy at times) For Mable the youtuber Cartoonshi made a video that basically gave all my thoughts on the said hatred in the fanbase (and even outsiders) for her at the time. But for context people hated her for being selfish and the writers barely calling her out at times. Which I'll admit is a fair critique. But at times it felt the old fandom wouldn't take the same critiques towards Dipper or even Ford for doing the same things. Like for instance Dipper's obsession with Wendy. It's obvious that Wendy is too old for Dipper, and in the episode "The Time Traveler's Pig" after he and Mable time travels so much to win Wendy over, ends up making Mable lose Waddles in after Dipper wins the caravel game. And I don't know about you but if I had a sibling and let them sacrifice my pet to win over someone, they never had a chance with I'd be furious. As for Mickey I'm starting to see him get flanderized a lot by people online (usually the Disney Hatedom). My problem here is that when most people do a Mickey or Disney parody, they tend to make Mickey a mean, greedy, & even a downright villain at times. Of course, Disney isn't perfect, and they have many things to be criticized about. But for some reason people tend to make Mickey be a walking and talking version of Disney just because he's, their mascot. Which is a shame because I feel like even if it doesn't seem much on the surface, I feel like there's a ton more things you can do with Mickey's character. Like where is his nice qualities like caring for Minnie or being an experienced key blade welder at? What weird is that this type of thing doesn't happen to Buggs Bunny even though Wanner Bros can be just as guilty as Disney sometimes. So Buggs doesn't get flanderized but Mickey does? (Sorry for the rant on the last one it's just something I noticed)

this is a show that i personally think is in most desperate need of a remake or a reboot. Kirby is notorious for having one of, if not, the BEST worldbuilding and lore out of any Nintendo franchise, and a TV show that explores aspects of that even further would be really interesting. bring all the English voice acting up to the same standard as King Dedede, make the animation more consistent (the 3D stuff is really jarring and does not mix), and heck, considering how much Kirby's universe has grown since the show was made throw in some new characters in there like Bandana Dee, Magolor, Adeleine, Taranza, Susie... this show could be something really special and when it doesn't realize how much it has to draw upon, it gets frustrating. I really do appreciate the "if you're going to dislike/hate something, have a valid reason" segment. I think that this whole "respect opinions" nonsense has deluded people into thinking that everything is subjective and there aren't any objective ways to criticize things, when that really isn't the case. opinions should be formed by making points that even someone who disagrees with you can understand and relate to, not misconceptions and headcanons treated as fact. otherwise you can shove those opinions out the door

i fully blame the dub. kerry williams’ performance combined with the dumbed down 4kids writing kinda sucks the likability out of her, just like everyone in the dub also, if i had a dollar for every KRBaY fan project that referenced the cave johnson lemon rant, i’d have 2 bucks, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice

22:00 Look Gary there I am! I think Tiff is the only female Kirby character you can actually say "God forbid women do anything" for since she hasn't committed any sort of horrific war crimes. Tiff and Tuff have always reminded me of Tatl and Tael from Zelda. Tatl being short tempered and VERY sassy and often being criticized for her rudeness, despite the fact she has development. While Tael is portrayed as more free spirited and unserious. A shame people dislike her so much, when Tuff has just as many flaws as she does and isn't criticized half as much as she is. (You know why)

I thought Tuff got plenty of criticism within the show itself.

That would imply that there's enough people who vocally hate Tiff on KZbin and a comment section that agrees, which is far from true. I've searched, and this feels less about "Everyone is wrong about Tiff" and more _I'm wrong about Tiff_ . I NEVER liked this girl. As a newbie to the Kirby franchise at the time, coming off of games like Crystal Shards and Tilt n Tumble, this wasn't the show I had in mind. The intrusiveness of Tiff and 4Kids' brand of annoying didn't help this show either.
@Lost-km5bh19 күн бұрын
I think it's less about people on KZbin hating her and more so people on the Internet in general hating her. If you google that and look at reddit or fandom posts, it's hard to escape that sentiment (not everyone hates Tiff, but when people use that term in video essays, they usually just mean "most people", not literally everyone)

For the one offs: Appears at the end (where were you?): Kit Cosmos GSA Round Table Knights Sirica Forgiveable but lame: Benikage Chef Nagoya Rowlin Otakings (Good Riddance) Sir Gallant Island Sisters Missed potential o'clock: Chef Shiitake (reaction to being impersonated..?) Escargoon's Mom Princess Rona Mr. Chip I thought you promised :( Yamikage Seriously though, why not add to the roster a bit? You can just keep Kit Cosmos retired in a corner and he can be ornery all the time. Where is Mr Chip going exactly? The children are still uneducated! Escargoon needs his mom (what's her name??). What if there was an episode indicating those Knights were alive instead of suddenly appearing. How did Sirica and Knuckle Joe meet? (Did they? They didn't shoot each other.) Isn't [Queen] Rona's kingdom/planet allied with Dreamland or something? What if they have a super cool space military? Since we have all our enemies and most of our allies in/from space, why don't we leave the planet except at the end or when Kirby throws a monster into the sun? WHERE DID YAMIKAGE GO???

I read the title as "Everything is Wrong About Tiff" lol, either way I'm surprised anyone feels so strongly about her, be it love or hate, because despite being pretty much the co protagonist, I just didn't really care about her at all, she's there, ig I like when she says "warp star" and that's it. Also, c'mon man, Mega? wouldve been way better if it was some crappy website like vimeo or something, i could only get about 7 minutes into the mega video before it told me to upgrade my account. Also google drive is free and right there for anyone to use. And yes I had both videos playing, I'm not a monster trying to steal your watch duration.

As someone with ASD, I highly doubt the autistic traits or the character arc were intended. Regarding her being autistic, I think it's a harmless headcanon but she didn't particularly strike me as autistic, though it is generally harder to diagnose in women so maybe you're onto something. About her arc, I completely understand seeing it as an arc and intended character growth, but let's be honest the gradual change was probably an afterthought of making her better fit the stories they had written. Before I say what I'm about to say I should remind you I do not feel strongly about Tiff one way or the other, she's okay. Regardless of all that, I do not think hating a character for "being autistic" is a "yikes", having a mental/social disability does not excuse her from being unlikable to some, in fact I've met many other autistic people whom I really disliked due to their autistic characteristics and I can recognize that, it is frustrating to hate them when they remind me of myself but I'm just being honest.

Hey, hey. I liked this! Fellow autistic here too btw. KZbin randomly tossed me this video. When I was in middle school, I fixated HARD on Kirby, and I watched and adored this anime so much, even through its flaws. I'm almost 30 now, and I still look back on those days fondly, oh how time flies. Anyway, I actually liked Tiff a whole lot, she was a female character who was strong and spoke her mind, and being a young girl at the time, I really needed to see more characters like that. I recall for sure giving her major roles in all my old Kirby comics and fanfictions I used to make, she wasn't my favorite (I was basic and liked Meta Knight) but she was a character I respected and enjoyed a lot. Nowadays, I'd say with the current Kirby games I've grown to like Dedede (so much so that I can't help but almost dislike his anime portrayal now). I really liked listening to you talk about her, I LOVE listening to people talk about their favorite characters, especially if they changed and resonated with you in some way. I think it's really great how one character, in this case an unpopular one, can really stick with someone in all the right ways. It's a beautiful thing. Ok, anyway, thanks for making the video, you manage to help me relive a bit of my old Kirby love from way back in the day, as well as make me realize that Tiff was an autistic queen all along!

good vid! but i feel like at 12:08 you saying that if people don't like tiff's personality means they don't like autistic people is potentially misleading? i'm autistic and i know autistic people and there are parts of my and their personalities that annoy etch other. just because someone is autistic dose not mean they should be exempt from or be excused from being criticized for their personality. i love tiff and i found her funny but most people don't like a short tempered, sometimes to the point of being overwhelming, person in shows or irl. it's good that she gets better but some people won't notice that and stick with the 1st impression. again rly good vid, just one thing i wanted to say! hope you grow bigger soon and make even better vids! you got a new sub out of me!

As a tiff hater, there are several notes i have about this video 1. Don't call someone sexist for hating a female character, even if it was true it sounds like you're arguing in bad faith 2. Hating tiff, hating tokori, and hating Sakurai's decision to make kirby not talk are not exclusive. I hate them all 3. I hate tiff partially because she's an original character who is the main character of another well established character's show. By default she is in a role she never should have been in, but the fact that, like tuff, she is a bad character for most of the show and a good character for a single digit number of episodes makes her so hatable 4. The only thing worse than a main character with no flaws is one who's flaws are never addressed as bad. You say that dedede exploits them all the time but you didn't name any examples. In fact, the only times I can remember her flaws coming into play they're either a good thing (like being too stubborn to watch dedede's tv) or treated as a good thing when they actually aren't (like when she sabotoges dedede's dream of making a TV show about himself, AKA the producer and the one who should have had the final say. And when she refuses to let Dedede put his trash anywhere, which implies pupupuland doesn't have a landfil, which implies that tiff doesn't let them build a landfil, and because of tiff's actions causes the events of the worst episodes in the show) 5. Don't act like we're needy for wanting examples, providing examples provides 2 important things to your audience a) proof that you're not just making it up, and b) a way for the audience to actually remember what you're talking about 6. Tiff doesn't start controlling her temper because it got her in a bad place, which is how all character arcs should be done, instead it looks more like the writers realized nobody likes ot when characters are constantly angry and decided to tone it down, like the opposite of Chi-chi from dragon ball 7. She's 13, so what? She's still a bad character 8. She's autistic, so what? Even if it is intentional (and I'm not convinced) that doesn't stop her from being a bad character 9. The fact that she's the main character is detrimental to kieby's character. There are glimpses of the writers realizing that kirby can be a competent character without speaking, like the star rod thing, but for most of the episodes it feels like tiff is just a crutch the writers fall on instead of trying to make kirby anything more than a weapon tiff can wield against dedede and the demon beasts. 10. All of this is ignoring tiff's most glaring flaw, the fact that she's annoying. The writers constantly use her as a mouthpiece, either for harmless purposes like talking about shells, but other times they just have her tell the auidince crap like "never throw things away because animals could live where you build a landfil," and "global warming is real" if a person can't sit through an episode of a show without saying "I hate this character, she's just annoying" no amount of "she's an autistic 13 year old, she has flaws" will fix the fact that she's annoying the audience

Thanks for shining a light on this topic for me and many others too. I never hated tiff as a character as a long-time Kirby fan, as I actually liked her for the potential she might've gotten more often than not, now that I gotten older and mature. And this is where I can agree with, the show had given me frustrations that had made me think critically with its missed potential it could've taken. When I saw that King DeDeDe have a change of heart only to fake it in just one episode, that's when I flipped the table from noticing the shows lack of opened opportunities. I can't even bring myself to watch it nowadays, this show left me with no second chances. And I do love their characters and everything else. Sorry if I'm kind of ranting at this point, I just wish more could've been done with this show. Though I am grateful to see there are others like me out there with this relatability. So once again, thank you for also telling me that I am not alone.

Oh man, I'm so glad this video randomly showed up in my recommended. Kirby was my first ever fandom, some of my first ever fanart and fics were based on Kirby, it all means so much to me. I used to be so active in it, but I thought the fandom had basically died out. I miss it. This felt like returning home. Fantastic analysis though, I always liked Tiff. She was never my favorite, but I did like her. She was probably my *second* favorite, at least. Meta Knight was my favorite (fairly typical, I suppose) but I always loved the general relationship and respect they had for one another. Like, it really felt like they were the only ones who really *got* each other. I loved the kind of mentorship dynamic between them. I guess I also kind of related to her, being the 'smart kid' that adults treated with some level of respect, but other children never understood. Also absolutely autistic. So, yeah, I get you.

25 minute video about Tiff! Awesome! That reminds me of the fact I uploaded a 36 minute video about Larry Koopa. After seeing this title, I think I coulda called it "Everyone is wrong about Larry Koopa" and it might have gotten more clicks and views that way, lmfao! Anyway, I'm gonna watch the video and timestamp parts I watch. Before watching though, I want to say only thing about Tiff I didn't really like is how she treats King Dedede and Escargoon, but I can't say it's unwarranted to be fair, granted she was the one to speak about Dedede just wanting to feel appreciated in the Dededeappriecation day I think the episode was. 2:11 I've not heard that point before, but I also haven't really been around the Tiff hate scene all that much, so it's a given I wouldn't have seen that... Okay, actually, I think I vaguely remember hearing that people were saying this (which says something because as I said, I haven't been around the Tiff hate scene yet I may've heard it). Either way, I think that claim that Tiff is a mary-sue is wrong. Okay, now I'm gonna watch you, uh, debunk that claim. 2:49 Considering things I wasn't too fond of with Tiff (being mean to King Dedede and Escargoon, who are my favorites in the anime which is why it bothers me), yeah, I think that's wrong, lol. If Tiff had no personality flaws, she wouldn't be the type to be so intensely suspicious of or somewhat mean toward those two no matter what they've done, lol. 2:57 Exactlyyyyyyy, lmfao 3:11 Kirby is being cute there, lmfao 3:28 Lmfao, just time stamping because I love the clip. Also, interesting Japanese fact! 3:54 Lmfao, true 4:15 Is Tiff really 13? I didn't think she had a confirmed age. That's cool! Tiff is the same age as Larry Koopa, lol... Going by what you just said there in your video anyway. Also, true that you need to have experience before you know something, can't just automatically know. 4:52 Lmfao, true, one of the things I also haven't been too fond of with her personally, but I also have that exact flaw in common with Tiff, I would be lying if I said I didn't. Also, lmfao that it's another trait exploited by King Dedede and Escargoon. Those two are like, so bad in the anime but that's what makes them funny, in contrast to gameverse King Dedede who started out as somewhat of a manchild but has become Kirby's friend as of now, not to mention feels the need to "protect his people" and tags along in Kirby 64 and Return to Dreamland for that reason despite merely being a self-proclaimed king rather than a legitimate one, which is what I like about gameverse King Dedede. I like both Dededes in their own right, hahah! Anime Dedede is hilarious while Game Dedede is awesome. 5:18 I couldn't help but laugh but you're so right about that. Like, Dedede and Escargoon are funny even though they exploit the poor kid's flaws like that (in fact, that's admittedly kind of funny in of itself, like, at least they aren't being painted as the heroes for it). It's like how no one acknowledges that Larry doesn't actually wanna do what Bowser says and is actually a good kid because they don't want Mario to look bad for abusing him and are biased. 5:23 You're absolutely not wrong, that's for certain. 5:50 Excited to hear about the character arc, don't think I really paid much attention to it, at least not well enough. Makes me think of how I'd explain Larry's lore and tragic story, so of course, I'm interested in hearing about Tiff's character arc. I can imagine it'll probably start ringing bells and I would be like "Oh yeahhhhhh" but of course I'll see as I watch further. 6:32 I was expecting examples, but I think if I rewatch the show and focus on Tiff, I'll be able to notice that. I assume you're giving examples after what you say here. 6:53 Poor Kirby, but those clips always make me laugh! I can see Tiff immediately let her anger out on them there in Kirby's defense, heheh. 7:20 Definitely noticed the huge difference there, how she doesn't immediately lash out. 7:37 That's a really good way to put it! 7:51 That is good character development! I honestly might appreciate Tiff more after this! 8:05 It's good Meta Knight was helping her with development like that. 8:34 That's trueeeeeeeee, I didn't particularly notice that before! 8:49 Your words combined with the music is so powerful here! 9:00 I don't hate her, was just annoyed she'd get so upset with Dedede and Escargoon, that was all, but I don't hate her. 9:06 OMG you have the same theory I have with Larry Koopa! The Autism Diagnosis! I didn't put Larry's autism diagnosis in my Larry video because I want to give it it's own video, which I tease at the end, saying it's the peak of psychoanalyzing Larry's character. Okay, I REALLY think I'm gonna be able to appreciate Tiff better after this! I'm looking forward to this! 10:09 Poor Tiff 10:19 So cool to see a list of Tiff's symptoms! For Larry Koopa, his symptoms are hyperfixations (to such an absurd extent to where he just associates the olympics entirely with horses, not to mention info dumps about horses and doesn't know when time is up with things he gets interested and immersed into, having spent the WHOLE time at the Olympic equestrian center in Rio 2016, he also seems to have been in the process of learning to get the horses to listen to him and pulls it off eventually, giving it his all, very unlike how he is with most things he does), yelling not being effective in getting him to do things and only traumatizing him (his autism working as a disability, he is physically unable to get himself to work very hard on things he isn't interested in and has a reputation for being lazy as a result in comparison to things he IS interested in. This is to the point he slacks off until either he is caught or until it's last second and tries to avoid BEING caught because Bowser is scary to him), trouble understanding social norms (going on and on and on about horses and then proceeding to trauma dump unprompted in Mario and Sonic, like he doesn't know how to socialize normally), taking things such as a toughly worded supportive comment literally and thinking it's a serious threat, he's frequently described as short tempered which is a common way of negatively describing an autistic child having trouble with emotions and on top of that, Larry, is, a, *supertaster,* although he is called "picky" that's not actually fair to him because he experiences taste much more strongly than a normal person does. Statistically, more autistics are supertasters than neurotypicals. I tried to make this brief but I still ended up typing sooooooo muchhhhhhh, oof, sorry. I will continue the video now, looking forward to seeing Tiff's autistic symptoms explained! 11:11 I'm sorry myself, I should have given her more of a chance. 11:23 I like to believe making Larry Koopa autistic was intentional as well, but I unfortunately have to acknowledge there is a high chance it wasn't intentional :( 11:46 Lol 12:06 Throwin' it out there, I'm autistic myself, lol. But also throwin' it out there I didn't hate Tiff, I just didn't like how she is like to Dedede and Escargoon which put a damper on giving her more of a chance or looking deeper into her, which I apologize for. Okay, gonna stop time-stamping so much because I think this is gonna get too long. I'll leave my thoughts below this sentence when I finish the video. 12:46 Didn't like the Mario cartoons, well, don't like what they did to the Koopalings anyway. 16:07 I'ma be honest with you. I like Kirby Right Back at Ya. I don't think it's a show I have very many negative things to really say about. 16:47 I agree with that. 18:52 Awwwww, poor Kirby. Good that they're his friends. 19:08 Ahahahahahahaha! I love Tokkori 19:24 Yes, all too well, I know how that feels. 19:59 Cute 20:42 While Madoka Kaname was the character who got me out of embodying the horrible evil bad guy that everyone loves to hate that everyone made me out to be (misunderstanding my autism, resulting in me acting out) and made me feel safe and like there is someone who wouldn't see me as bad, even if fictional, while I realized that Larry Koopa is a lot like a younger version of myself. Like how I was at 13-years-old. I'm glad that Tiff has helped you better understand yourself and you did so good with this video! 20:58 Larry Koopa was my colorblindness awakening, hahah! I didn't know I was mildly colorblind until I discovered that Larry Koopa is severely colorblind, lmao! I already knew I'm autistic and I'm pretty sure I'm a cisgender man (well, boyman, but I'm male, heh) I'm glad Tiff helped you love yourself. Madoka helped me feel safe and like I don't have to be a bad guy and Larry really reminds me of myself to the point I want Madoka to help him. 22:11 It's good that you respect opinions. I personally like Right Back at Ya and I've gained a newfound appreciation of Tiff. Thank you so much for helping me understand Tiff better. Tiff is literally the most sane and relatable character of the show

No way she's on the same level as me (autistic) I never hated her. She's the straightman of the show who helps everyone as much as she can I think. My eyes and ears, and mind have been opened! Great essay!

I never understood why Tiff was hated.

I know why she was that “hated” but when I see more and more, she is more akin to another character that can relate to her. That being Naota from FLCL (Fooly Cooly), at least she did “Swing the Bat” at the end.

In all reality, I related to her younger brother in the episodes I watched as a younger brother myself. But I never HATED her.

Honestly, I had no idea people hated Tiff. She seems alright from what I've seen. She's certainly no Chris Thorndyke.

From the little I watched from the Kirby anime, I liked her and I wish Tiff was in a Kirby game. (She is almost like Adelaine, having way way less attention that she should have been)

The haters actually like her so much that they think she's perfect

just change your real name to tiff at this point to honor the character.

Okay, but WHO's complaining about Tiff/ Fumu ? I've never seen anyone making negative posts about this character, I'm glad you still care about this propery by the way.

Are we going to ignore that tiff has magical abilities? She had a flip book with infinite pages
