I stopped upgrading every year around the iPhone 5, went to a 7 to a 13pro and this year going to a 16proMax because I really like seeing the upgrades between those generations. My 13Pro going to the C- and the camera improvements and the battery life upgrade and NO MENTION of the sattelite link up for emergencies was the real reason for the upgrade this year.

Still haven’t copped the 16 Pro Max yet. I have the 15 Pro Max and I want the 16 for the bigger screen and battery life. Apple Intelligence isn’t the selling point for me. I don’t see why people are so disappointed about a software update not bein in the 16 right now. They told us what it was and when it’s going to be available.

Im so happy my brother swapped his new 16 pro max with my 15 pro max. My visually intensive games don't overheat the phone like pavement on a summer day and the battery is noticeably, substantially better. Also this may just be my imagination but the overall screen brightness is brighter and the screen is just easier on the eyes overall

The one thing I hardly see any creator talk about is why we upgrade often… for most its length of term, AppleCare expiring, phone being older and slower … phones to me now are like leasing cars vs financing . My 14 pro max 1tb has 1 month left on AppleCare and I had my first incident in 15+ years of iPhones. New screen and battery replaced and it’s like new.. but without AppleCare I’m not comfortable using a $3k cdn phone

Im using iPhone 12 Pro and will be upgrading to iPhone 16 pro, before the iPhone 12 Pro I had iPhone 7 and before that I had the iPhone 5s. So you can see how often I feel like upgrading and not because of need but just because the upgrade is justifiable. As a cost-conscious consumer and, more importantly, a non-iPhone-Samsung Z Fold/Ultra user, I think, like most tech reviewers, that the traditional slab phone and maybe cell phones, in general, have plateaued. The best thing I've found is to not update every year. I save money and feel like I've got a legitimate upgrade after 2 or 3 years.

I like the Camera button. My thing is the Iphone 15 Pro Max is the 14 Pro Max with a new Button (the Action Button) & the Iphone 16 Pro Max is the Iphone 15 Pro Max with a new Button (Camera Button) so basically, the only thing customers are getting is a new Button. They rotate from slightly taller and slightly slimmer vs slightly wider and slightly shorter. Other than that it's the same phone.

@ The only time I replace my phone is when it’s worn out or no longer software supported, I wised up to apples incremental changes and purchase only the most memory and biggest screen, so the have gone from 64gigabit to 1 t see if it lasts the next ten upgrades the 6+ did years of great service and changed 3 batteries in the life of the phone.

I want to be able to use a app like face app and import that scan of the person into the software, the software is still glitchy but in the future I see so many potential uses including mapping through a house and providing a 3d map!

Hey C, check out the rebel version six and the rebel Flex, the Rebel Flex is without sides. I'm sporting this on my 16 Pro Max and I love that I can narrow it by that amount of thickness to where it is about as thick as a 15/16 pro with a full case! Plus I can modify the buttons and trim/protection pieces with different colors/material. Aluminum/titanium etc. 14:45

Seems I’m ahead of the times. My current iPhone (soon to be replaced) is an iPhone X. Yep. 7 1/2 Years on the same model, brother, with the only thing replaced being the battery. So I will certainly not belong to the people to return it, just for not being happy with not getting enough new features. I don‘t care about that. I get the one upgrade, that nobody can talk their way out of. Software support. The iPhone X didn’t even get iOS 17. And with iOS 18 released, apparently, I don’t even get security updates for iOS 16 anymore. So its only a matter of time, before apps won‘t be updated anymore as well. And since my replacement battery is used up as well, getting the latest and greatest iPhone is a no brainer for me.

iPhone 16 Pro is faster (less pixels to light up means less GPU being used), and it is much easier and comfortable to hold with one hand. iPhone 16 Pro Max has better battery, and bigger screen. Which is "better" is up to you, both have 2 benefits the other does not.

Recent bought the 16 Pro Max. I must say, I like it. As far as, “Apple Intelligence”, let them take all the time they want. I’d rather them take their time, and get it right, than to rush it.😊

New subscriber here! Currently own an iPhone 13 Promax 265 GB. Seriously considering upgrading to 16 Pro or 16 ProMax. Not sure which but definitely going for the 512 GB. I’m a small content creator. So camera, battery life, minor photo/video editing are among top priorities. On the fence because I’m a girl and I’ve seen men taller than me point out how the 16 Promax is so much bigger. But coming from a 13Promax screen, I’m concerned that the 16Pro might feel like a downgrade coz of the smaller screen. Any suggestions pls 😊🙏🏻 Thank you in advance!

Hi guy I love your good mood and your way of presenting, of these new iPhone jewels! I took the 16 pro black titanium and to complete iPad Pro M4 pouf watch videos in 11 inches they form a perfect pair! The 16 pro max is a perfect screen if you don’t have an iPad, but I prefer ergonomics of the 16 pro. And the thin case behind to put behind iPhone I can’t find it in Europe I’ll try to order it. Anyway.

I'm on 84% and its a big difference from when it was 100%. How bad is yours?

Scratches found right before I put on screen protector. Hyper paranoid without case or screen protector. Had to get a case. Waiting over a month for magbak elite case ugh

So it doesn’t come with a charger or headphones?? Since they started to use usb c at least give us those things for the first model using USB c. And what was wrong with lightening plug??? I still use a iPhone X. And what happen to a SIM card?? Now they have esim?? Smh. Doesn’t make me want to upgrade
