@@writercleavebourbon Sometimes neighbors get angry, and one time a woman was literally just jealous that he was doing it for free for that person. This work can be very disruptive or irritating to people because it's loud and it tends to go on for a long time. Also a lot of times these channels are some random white dude with a nice truck and nice equipment showing up out of the blue to do work on a house in poorer black neighborhoods. A lot of the people in these communities have really good historic reasons to be suspicious or even hostile toward that. Doesn't mean their distrust isn't misplaced, but there's a reason for it. But SB also probably has enough of a back catalog and visibility showing that he's on the level where he probably can pretty easily avoid trouble.

As a wheelchair user, I want to thank you for doing this for the neighborhood. Even a cracked sidewalk is better (and SAFER) than rolling on grass or having to go out in the street. Some people don't realize how important things like sidewalks are for disabled or elderly people - I'm looking at you, people complaining that the cracked sidewalk is now exposed. I would have been ecstatic if I was one of those neighbors as it would mean I could more easily and SAFELY go on walks (you know what I mean) around the neighborhood. (Edit: I didn't intend to make anyone feel bad about this. I was simply trying to bring awareness to a subject that most people are unaware of. Even if it's something that never crossed your mind before, please don't feel bad; I don't blame anyone who never thought about it. Advocating for accessibility has been part of my life since I was a young child. My goal is just to provide a different perspective that may open someone's mind to a way of life unfamiliar to them.)

Love the kindness you spread and your cheerful attitude. SBMowing, I tell everybody about your channel! I live in the Yosemite area, and we have monthly "pick up trash days" near our tourist haunts, local lakes and residential areas, if a lot of people pitch in, the work is not hard at all!! I love doing it, so much fun! Looking at some of the other houses near this property, I see mowed lawns, houses that look somewhat maintained (No tires on roofs holding down tarps!), it looks like a nice area, wide streets. I wonder why nobody reaches out to help this failing property, I hope this woman had some people looking out her. Helping with grocery runs, that sort of thing. But given the neighbor, that man didn't seem to care about anything. Literally, a bummer of a man! The landscape next to your property is being cleaned up!! I personally would be overjoyed! You living area doesn't look derelict! Maybe he rents and really couldn't care less. I hope this daughter realizes the blessing handed to her and will try to at least maintain the property, that is my hope.
