toa is a poorly designed raid, looks good on paper, but was a disaster in reality when it comes to how a raid should be. The "difficulty" increase in the raid was just "add more of x, more defence, more health, and more attack" instead of adding REAL mechanics. I would prefer an even harder mode version of TOB that offers a fuckin justi cosmetic than do another TOA challenge for a mega rare cosmetic that wouldnt go with anything if it were blue XD

Not a bad thing, it adds variety, more hours for people to invest in getting something. If anything it's a good thing. If you ask me they shouldn't add kits that everyone can get or buy, at that point they're meaningless with all due respect. Let's say they brought 25min time limit 600 invocation for a shadow kit, anyone could go and learn, but most people don't want to. Therefor they're not worth the kit itself period. We need something hard in the game😄

imagine going TOA on a hardcore with 0 prior experience.... lmfao... thats asking to literally die.. there are so many things you have to learn about that raid that can one shot you, so many things you have to teach yourself to get used to, especially if youre trying to grind out a shadow 1/750 or whatever the rates are for it, expecting to push 1k toa, you should at least push 500 toa on a main, doing only 400-445's and THEN you should feel confident enough to go on a hardcore... some content creators just want the content and dont actually play the game "the way they should" (in quotations because you mention ANYTHING about there being a way to play the game, people freak tf out because they cant handle knowing their way is NOT the way.)

I can't do 600 toa, neither can you. So why have such a hard achievement and not have a guarantee reward for completing it? The people who can complete it are simply asking a reward for being able to do so. You get literally nothing but a better chance at a purple for compleing 600 toa. It makes no sense to have something be so hard in the game and get nothing for it.

I appreciate your positive outlook on the cosmetics. To the people talking about boosting here, I went in detail under my tweet defending it. To summarize my points though: - It doesn't necessarily have to be ToA 8 man sub 25 but it should be something as difficult and inaccessible. It doesn't have to be something I personally am already good at. I can't do ToB for example. - 8 man is too difficult to boost, it took us months to get it in the end with 3 deaths. - Even if it was boostable, so would every single other piece of content in the game be and I don't see anyone claim that it shouldn't be added to the game just because people will boost it.

We need cosmetics that actually give bonuses, even if it’s a tiny +1 atleast it’s something. It can incentivize people to grind the content and it gives a tiny tiny power creep or effects to weapons/ armor. For example the twisted ancestral set can get +1 to prayer for each piece or the holy scythe can get a regen some prayer every so often and the blood scythe can heal like a mini blood fury. These are changes that can be discussed.

A little context for the scythe pull clip, our friend ken “chvi123” in game went extremely dry for tbow 11 mega rares without it. While our other friend Josh “be stag” ign already had one relatively early, Josh sniped 2 tbows in front of ken in a short span of time which obviously triggered him very hard lol. Lastly Josh has been grinding tf out of tob for his last mega rare the scythe, so that was ken at the end there saying “payback?” And it actually was LOL

I dont mind ultra stuff like awakened kits. 600 invo is stupid, simply because finding 8 players at that prestige skill is ultra hard already as it is, once 1 team gets their kit they wont be inclined to do more for other people. Finding aother 8 people and making sure all your schedules align already is a massive issue. Im all for ultra hard pvm challenges but it should be tied to solos, so u cna grind it endlessly on your own time and eliminate variables or needing other players in that caliper of skill.

As someone who's done 2k toas and completed a single 600 run, do not make this 600 invo req..... Like 0.0001% of the player base can actually do that. It's not even a status symbol, it's a sign of shear masochism. Keep it 535 invo max. Nobody wants to grind out a 600. It just takes so god damn long, and having other idiots with you won't help much.

I've ran thousands of toa ranging from small teams to hosted 6-8 man's. I've ran hundreds solo too. My experience is that only a small fraction is capable of running 500s in a team, let alone solo and out of those players that could do the 500s as a team, only 2 or 3 could do a 600. Doing a 600 isn't something that a meaningful potion of the player base can achieve whether you want to admit it or not. If you think otherwise, what's your kc at toa and how do you know? What's your lived experience there? Likely low 3 to 500 with probably 1 kit only. I've ran hundreds of kits with thousands of players. We are not the same.

Rewarding a kit for a deathless 600 in time would be reserved for the best of the best, likely only a dozen or so players for a while at least. I know firsthand how difficult 600 8mans are (having been on the team myself). I understand many players might be opposed to there being a cosmetic they can never obtain, but I think it would be something incredibly cool to promote players pushing for incredible goals and being rewarded for it

Nah, no impossible cosmetics. I'm all for increased drop rate for insane completions, but not collection slots. I really don't care to cater to the extreme end game. Go to another game for a while and touch some grass. OSRS has plenty of end game achievements that are difficult. The fact that the extreme sweats have it figured out speaks more about them being weird than the game not being challenging or rewarding enough.
