My goodness, the experience Jai gained in his two fights with Bredis is going to be so valuable in the next few years. Two win a unanimous decision 1st time round with his jaw broken in two places without going down is incredible and then to have had his nose shattered by an accidental headbutt leaving him barely able to breath late in the 2nd bout, again not going down and to win unanimously, there's not a lot any opponents are going to be able to throw that will phase him. By far the Toughest Australian boxer ever and the way in which his skills keep improving, he may be remembered as one of the slickest by the time he retires too.

@@levidean3196 FFS, the toughest so far and the experience gained from these tough battles plus his, speed, skills and power makes him the dominate fighter is his division.

@ I class breidis and ggg as two of the toughest to lace on a glove in this era

@@levidean3196 Agreed, both are/were (considering both are effectively retired) very tough. Both never been down in their respective careers. I know Bredis went the distance with Opetaia in both fights with a busted nose (broekn in the 4th in 1st bout and the 6th in the 2nd). I don't know if either went the distance and won with a busted jaw on each side like Opetaia did in the 1st Bredis bout. Opetaia is up there in toughness with GGG and Bredis.

Love the honesty about the Breidis fight. It teaches us fans about the different challenges a boxer faces in the ring to get a deeper understanding of the sport. Jai is a champ in heart and mind.

I love how Jai is always pluralistic in his statements about fights. He always speaks as if his whole team is in the ring fighting.

I read that Jai's team are looking to face his IBF mandatory on the Gold Coast on 8/1/2025. I hope it happens so he's free to face the winner of CBS-Ramirez in the middle of the year.

I'm no expert but I'd like to see jai incorporate swimming in his training regime , builds cardiovascular endurance, weights are great but the muscles tend to be prone to lactic acid over load.
