2008 3500 68RFE OD”s Smoked over a year ago. Installed a Randy’s Stg 1 with their Babymaker VB and billet flex plate. Running good and smooth. Running 225 psi line pressure.👍

I have been running a built BD diesel street and tow 68RFE in a 08 Ram 2500. Daily driver and tow rig. Transmission is awesome all around !!

I paid 11 for the stage 3 and 1000 to be installed through through their dealer network.. I had Ccs and still have them in my files but I have to say the company I switched to the truck is night and day difference. With my 2nd gen swap and ccs truck wouldn’t make more than 36psi and ran mediocre new tunes I’m running with scat packs on the highway. Before I couldn’t even run with a 1500 ram just saying. But different strokes different folks. I do know that’s why ccs is always and has so many revisions and files cause they can’t get a decent tuning. Sorry Cam I know you work with them. Customer service is awesome though

Sorry you couldn't find the tuning u wanted with them. I have no complaints I recently installed a new file for my turbo with their revmax tuning and truck runs awesome. I have a 100psi boost guage and I can assure I make more than 35psi. I'm also running there hot file. With my 64mm I see up to 50psi easily. Bd got some good transmissions

Great video Cam! I’m running a Randy’s stage 3 on my 5th gen I love it good firm shits. But it the built trans with great tuning it’s awesome. I almost did a 48swap but glad I didn’t.

Thats badass man, I tell people if you aren't using it for drag racing or the track a 48 swap isn't needed. These 68rfe once built with a reputable company revmax or Randy's they will do amazing.

Haha trust it aint the Marine Corps making that happen. I pretty much bought piece by piece until i had everything ready I wanted to go in my transmission. When you break it down by pieces it's a lot more manageable to pay for haha

I just got myself a third Cummins, I like it a lot more than I like the second Gen. But unfortunately, some liberal Decided to stick a prybar in the high pressure fuel lines, damaging those and the cp3.

Good follow up on trans Will very much consider the Rev max 700 just for piece of mind. Not planning on going crazy on HP on my 17 2500 Is there a way to get the list of parts that you installed in your build?

I uploaded it on the screen in the video. The best thing u can do is look at the revmax 700 series Trans on their website and they have the build sheet for everything under the description

The real question is, cost, is this revmax worth the cost or should I do to a stock rebuild of the 68rfe. What did this cost or what would be one expected to pay for this. My 3rd gen has 157k on the stock Trans and I need to figure out which way to go. I keep my truck Stock, towing a 32fifth wheel a couple thousand miles a year.

I had mine rebuilt with a few extras. Ended up costing me 7k and only has a 18k mile warranty. If I would have redone it I would have gone through street smart transmission mainly because I liked the warranty and they ship and pick the other tranny up. All I do is tow 15k to 20k lbs and have 180k miles.

The answer is yes. The cost justifies what you will get and the longevity you will get out of the trans. You can do a stock 68 rebuild but unless your trans is only going to be used on a stock truck it won't last as long. I knew my truck will be making around 650hp so I would not waste the time or money putting a stock unit back in. Stock trans has prone areas everywhere. Valve body, oil pump, input clutch drum. That's just a few. I talked about the cost of this trans in the video.

I just dropped the triple disk low stall revmax in mine. Do you have a Sligh ringing sound coming from it if it's in P or N. Revmax is an awesome company they are sending out a new one. But was just wondering if you hear anything.

I dont have that sound coming from mine. Revmax is good about there service in terms of sending out another part if something is wrong.

Hey man, I got a 5th gen. I see on your spec sheet it came to a total of $6500. Revmax 700 is a lot more expensive on their website. Is yours $6500 because you bought the parts and has it built compared to just buying from them?

If i was to get a revmax, i would do the 700 as well. Not that i would get that high in horsepower (no more than 120hp over stock), but over built in my mind would pose extra security and piece of mind. Just my thoughts.

Thats where I was at with getting this trans built. This trans would be safe up to 800hp but I have no goals to make that much power haha
