Something I forgot to mention: all of these clothes have probably the WORST “thrift” smell I’ve ever experienced...I washed everything in baking soda/vinegar TWICE and the smell is still kinda there. Just something to keep in mind!!

So cheap! The way they are just thrown on the ground really shows how little value we place on clothes though and how disposable textiles are. It would be cool to pick up some nice items, wash them and then donate them to a women’s shelter

You really need to check out a Goodwill Outlet for some craziness. They also have the same warning whenever they change tables. It is quite chaotic. Plus you buy clothes by the pound! You can score some really good deals.

I love the whole 1$ concept but the way they just toss all the clothes in a clump on the ground would turn me off. It seems painfully hard to find anything rather than being hung on a clothing rack or even a table. Thats just my opinion tho!

I think it is just a money saving technique, since it would probably take hours to hang all those clothes. Plus, its LA so people are probably attracted to the "grunginess' of it. LOL but agreed, I don't think it's cute.

Have you ever tried garage sales? My mom and grandma were really into garage sales and thrifting, when I was a kid/teen I HATED it. It wasn't until a few years ago that I started agreeing to go.
