You become overweight by loosing control of your food, and letting it dictate your eating habits. Being a chef is the exact opposite of that: complete control over your food.

Anybody else satisfied to know that he's a real, down-to-earth person by admitting that he doesn't prepare 5-star restaurant foods for himself morning, noon, and night and even mentioned DoorDash? @@osvaldobh99 Well it actually depends. Working for a restaurant doesn't equal being a chef, you can be just be a cook and you can still work for restaurant. Joshua said it himself that he was a lead cook. I also watch Gordon Ramsay so I used to define pro chefs as people who actually went to culinary school, because Gordon absolutely hates self-taught cooks who call themselves pro chefs like Jamie Oliver. But now when I started watching Joshua, I'm a bit more flexible on the definition of chefs because I approve him as a chef in my heart. It's not the same for other people though so don't force your definition on somebody else.

There have been a number of KZbin star chefs - but none like Josh. Sure, he has relatability, charisma, humour and all of those things -- but when it comes to cooking? His pretensions and passions are sincere and he doesn't fake it. He clearly *knows* how to cook. That is never in doubt. And with most of the other KZbin wannabes? To be honest, it's pretty much always is in doubt at some point. Not with Josh.
