WOW Mike this is such a powerful video. I don’t know you but I want to thank you for the courage to do this; there are thousands and thousands of people going through this and don’t know how to handle these types of situations. Your advice will go a long way in helping them get through their situation. When I was younger I used to think I could control both the effort and the outcome but as I get older I realize I can only control the effort and once you have given something your best effort then the results are what they are. 40 is the exact age for my divorce as well, Mike..It was tough, but I got through it. I missed being around my 2 children on an everyday basis and that was the worst thing about it! Wow, sorry to hear this Mike. I hope that you are doing well. Maybe some kind of counseling could help you. My wife just left right before Christmas 2022. She claimed that it was a temporary separation. I was so depressed for months. I ended up filing for divorce last November (what a fun & expensive process) but in the end she wanted to try to work things out so I signed the papers to cancel the divorce a couple of weeks ago and am beginning to feel regret already. It takes allot to be strong sometimes and you did it! But don't forget to take some of your newfound time to work on yourself and to make sure that you heal. It sounded like you two were together for a long time as has my wife & I (together since 95 married since 98.
