When you think about it, the brainwashing guy is pretty much becoming a parallel to Eraserhead, that is, non-physical quirks that can't be relied on every fight, lack of social skills, unneasing presences, the use of binding cloth and while eraserhead wears goggles so people can't guess where he is looking at, this one uses a mask to modulate his voice and make people unaware of who is talking. All we need is a third one with a pair of headphones and the trio is complete xD

God, THANK YOU for truly appreciating this arc. A lot of the "reactors" I've seen complained, saying it was a waste of time like you said. It's probably the silliest argument in my opinion. Most people want action upon action and battles upon battles, but I think we need those moments of character building and progression, if we want the subsequent development to make sense. How can you expect to connect and root for the characters if you don't actually see them evolve and develop ? A story like that can't just be heroes and villains beating eachother up 24/7.

The ones who complain are the same as the ones who complained about the School Festival arc, who are just people who can only watch action scenes. people who rate anime 1/10 on MyAnimeList tend to do that for silly reasons like "The anime is too mainstream" "Disliking the anime cause they do not like the genre(s) that anime is in but still keep watching those genre(s)" "The anime Rating score is higher than they think it should be / it being higher than an anime they like" (which is one of the reasons the overall rating of an anime should not be taken to seriously. However it can be useful on the individual level like keeping track of the anime you love/like/dislike for yourself and see what other people (whose opinion you care about) ratings are )

Honestly I don’t know why people hated on this arcs. Setup arcs are and have always been necessary. And this setup arc is filled to the brim with character development and engaging fights. People complain about the introduction segments but they have to remember that there are people who don’t consume MHA every day. There are people who watch the season and forget all about the show until the next season comes out. They need the intro segments.

I remember when the third fight with Class A and Class B happened there was just a trend where everyone kept saying "Todoroki went too far not click bait! 😱" which I understand he wad using a very dangerous move but they're seemingly forgotten that tetsutetsu has trained his body to withstand extreme heat. even if it's more than he usually can handle I'm sure he'd survive it, he'd probably pass out but he wouldn't die like most people liked to insinuate at that time.

52:28 Oh...now I understand how deeper is the meaning of this scene, with All Might as number one, he was so strong that he was a disuasive hero and gave many interviews, at some point, I think the heroes started to think that they have their job to do, but because of all might's presence, they didn't care that much since villain were likely not to appear, or at least, way less than before. But now, with Endeavour, a hero that never stops making effort and put his life at stake for the people, the heroes see how important their job really is, and start changing...AWESOME

It's refreshing to have somebody point out and mention that, while the things he did were awful, he is trying to be a better person. It's not going to happen overnight and i think the author has done a wonderful job illustrating this fact while a large portion (or maybe a vocal minority) are just turning a blind eye to it to perpetuate the hate surrounding the character.

At win 127 I also love how the music when Mudman comes up out of the liquid ground the music is a little reminiscent of shark scenes in oh so many movies for a moment. ^^ It might just be coincident, but it still cracks me up.
