I wasn't a huge fan of that part but rewatched it because of this movie and of course with a Rogue Cut this time. I have to admit that I like it much more. I do understand why certain scenes were cut, to have faster pacing but rogue cut feels deeper, more complete. John telling Edger Rice Burroughs (Ned) to write book which is a nice reference to the book fans. 11. The brilliant action scene with John battling the Warhoon. The emotion put into it, the flashbacks cleverly used and Kitsch's sad and angered filled facial expressions. I consider it one my favourite action scene in all cinema (no joke) 12. Mars red style Disney logo. 13. Any scene with John Carter shirtless (75% of the movie)=Taylor Kitsch's workout routine. Jonathan Crane True, I really wished that Andrew Stanton's planned trilogy was made. I know what happens next cause I've read the second book, Gods of Mars. If you haven't read it yet, I'm going tell what happens at the beginning of the book and how the film would've started too. Basically, John materialises back to Mars after 10 bitter years but instead of returning to where his body originally was, he ends up in the one place nobody can escape: The Valley Dor (AKA the Barsoomian afterlife). Carter also find Tar Tarkas who taken pilgrimage to the Valley Dor to find him. They also discover that most who reach the Valley Dor are either eaten by beasts or enslaved and eventually eaten alive by the Therns. That would've been awesome to see right? Shame we'll never see it. There's always hope for a reboot in the foreseeable future.

You didn't put the scene where Charles realizes Logan is back. That part gave me goosebumps.

A hero is someone who does whats right even if they might lose something anything a superhero is someone that does the right thing no matter what emotion, person or consequence they lose or face thats what makes them above heroes

They should have explained Rogue's part in the story better even if they did cut her scenes. They could have taken a minute to explain her powers combined with Mystique made up the new sentinels.

I realize I’m 6 years late but hopefully you learned that those unnecessary dings if you’re listening to this video with headphones on are torture.

I love the positiveness of this. It's refreshing to see a youtube channel do something other than bash every movie. Kudos.

I know this channel deals with movies but could i suggest a major exception to that trend with a TV series that, imo, SERIOUSLY deserves major recognition even 13 years after the pilot episode. A favourite series of mine outside of any genre typing, that being the 2004 re-imaged series of Battlestar Galactica. Even the....weird 4th season, was mostly a perfect example of how to do TV series. Even the science of this scy-fy was grounded in at the time understood science, it deserves as much recognition as possible

"Quicksilver slo-mo scene was definitely the best setpiece" compare Bryan Singer's filmography and Matthew Vaughn's (keep in mind HitGirl massacre scene and the church scene in Kingsmen), tell me @CinemaWins, which of these two directors does this setpiece belong to? Vaughn developed this movie and was supposed to direct it until Singer hijacked it

Even with Apocalypse ending up not so good - I could watch McAvoy and Fassbender play these characters forever. They are both TREMENDOUS actors and their chemistry and depth as Charles and Erik is incredible.
