Just a quick hint for those that might be to trying to polish their frets with 0000 Steel Wool for the first time...Before you even think about using it: First, Tape Off Your Pickups. (I know that those of us that have been doing this for a while will be going, well of course. "But" if you've never tried before? This is one piece of information that is of primary importance.) Veteran 0000 Steel Wool Fret Polishers, thank you for humoring me trying to help those just starting.

Earlier this year I took all my guitars and bass to be professionally setup. I took my Fender Blues Junior to have repaired and is been a month and a half. No telling what's coming down the road.

Hey hey... Louis! Dude... I just did some maintenance on my Fender MIM Alternate Universe Blacktop Strat... a total fretboard cleaning, fret end filing, fret dressing and installation of a new bridge...the Vega-Trem... along with a fresh set of D'Addario NYXLs! That's a really cool maintenance kit! 😎🤘🎸

I think the kits are very handy for those who don’t already have the items included or equivalent like I have.

Nice maintenance kits indeed. Personally, I use high quality but much cheaper products/tools without having to pay for the brand name.

For guitar maintenance or light adjustment, I use string winder and cutter from D'addario. I bought it 12 years ago and still works fine. Other brands claims their winder do this or that but I stick to mine. Other thing I buy from different brand.

Yes I know how to make adjustments. It’s really not that hard. Learn how to set up your guitars yourself. ☝️😄
