Thanks for your honest unassuming style of video ! I'm a "Guanaco " by marriage ,and we visited last year ,and going back again this year in 4 days ! Yes much has changed in El Salvador in my opinion El Salvador is undergoing a renaissance , the people feel safe and that was key in order to build modern infrastructure that the hard working people of El Salvador deserve . Common sense leadership has said correctly so " why should the many suffer for the wants of the few " there should be consequences to people who cause harm and suffering to others ! Why should people be afraid to conduct business , travel the country , El Salvador has so much to offer , hopefully this renaissance can continue and even more prosperity can come to El Salvador , every Salvadorean who is living abroad is now returning and bringing more enthusiasm to the country !

Pro tip to eat pupusas, open it from the edge just becareful. That way you will have 2 halfs and it cools down a bit. Then put the cabbage and some tomato sauce on top and fold it in half when you pick it up, kind of like a taco
@robbienorton952223 күн бұрын
ProTip: (lol) when eating a pupusa, you leave it on the plate. the curtido (cabbage salad with vinegar) can be on the side or on top and with the red salsa. you just rip a piece off and use it like a tortilla to pick up the curtido with salsa. They are amazing! I hope they will have more traditional restaurants in the historic center one day but mostly what you find are the pupuserias everwhere in El Salvador and they love tacos too which can be even better than what you find in Mexico. Check out Antiguo Cuscatlan if you have a chance it's a cool little pueblito with a few good restaurants too.
@TR4R22 күн бұрын
I dunno if it would be more practical but I would have taken it with the palm of my hand making a small bowl like when eating a taco or a Costa Rican gallo and then eat it.
@V.E.R.O.17 күн бұрын
@@TR4R I split the pupusa in two halves and top each half with curtido and tomato sauce and eat it like a taco. Every person has their own way of eating, I've noticed it varies by region. There really isn't a wrong way to eat a pupusa.
