KZbin recommended me this video and it's an amazing glance at San Salvador and our culture, thank you for sharing your experience here in my country. You also provided some facts through it, I learned something interesting :) What I was kind of disappointed is that your first experience with pupusas was at a random pupusa shop (pupuseria) in the street, you should go to Planes de Renderos and taste real pupusas, believe me they are the bomb. You got a new subscriber, hope this is not the last time you visit El Pulgarcito de América (The Little Thumb of the Americas, El Salvador's pet name). You guys are awesome!

We really appreciate that you take the time to visit our country, and we are so pleased to have you here, and that you enjoy being in this beautiful place as we do, Now there is something that we all know, and it’s happening between people from Central America and the US, and that is Racism. Any of you look racist, I see you treat local people with the respect they deserve and that’s awesome ( if only all US Americans were like that). What I do not like about this, and I’m so sorry for this but I have to say it. When an American person (gringo) comes here, we treat him or her very good, we try to be friendly because we want they to have a good perspective of our country, this country were gringos can come without any problem, but if one of us goes to the US, it’s the opposite, I have experienced that, once I went to the US for business purposes and a lady yelled at me, saying “Go back to your country”. All of us are humans who deserve respect. But please do not take it bad, it’s an awesome video and like I said we are glad to have you here. Regards from El pulgarcito de America. We’re currently filming from our phones. We now use a stabilizer sometimes but not always. I find it super simple and easy to not have too much equipment especially since we’re usually out from morning to night.

I love "free walking tours," but as my husband learned in Lisbon, Portugal, every tour guide is charged a price of 2-4 Euros per guest. So, if you ditch halfway through a tour, they are still charged for you. FYI, someone secretly counts the number of people starting the tour without your knowledge. Then they meet the tour guide and collect their portion. So, be careful of "free tours" in Lisbon, Portugal.

Yes! We still haven't tried to make this at home yet. We did make horchata yesterday though for the first time. It was delicious! We discovered this drink in Mexico. I'm not sure if they drink it in El Salvador too but it's so good.

Be very welcome...stay away from dangerous zones of crime and burglar..always drink bottled water..get fresh garments...practice your spanish...and enjoy....and last but not least...use sun filters...may all of you got a nice stay....
