@preciouskosoko11 ай бұрын
I’m not sure why they used a thin straw here but in my home country, we use a thin straw too so that it lasts longer and you can savour the shake. It kind of makes you patient with your food if that makes sense 😂
@hanne590611 ай бұрын
@@preciouskosokoI think that point is valid for watery drinks like soft drinks but for shakes it doesn‘t make and sense because your drink will just melt away before you can enjoy it.

The one thing I always find weird whenever Americans get fish and chips is that you eat it with your hands, we don't really do that in the UK, it's usually either a knife and fork or a tiny little wooden fork
@shannonforsberg411811 ай бұрын
That's the most British thing I've ever heard of 😂 but yeah, this side of the pond, fried foods such as these tend to be seen as finger foods. But now I know if I ever go to the UK and get fish and chips, I should eat with utensils 👍
@leeshapon11 ай бұрын
@@shannonforsberg4118i think mostly it’s just cause here fish and chips is really greasy so you don’t want to get it all on your hands. chips maybe but i would never eat (hot) fish with my hands lol
@LoveMyDaisyGirl91111 ай бұрын
I wouldn't put one person's actions on all Americans. Everyone is different. Some people eat all their food with utensils, some consider this type of food as finger food and others may do both like it depends on who the person is.... 😏

Any chip shop, go for the halibut, steak fries, mushy peas, coleslaw, malt vinegar for the chips, extra tartar sauce for the fish. Wash it down with a Sprite or Canada Dry, or pint of pilsner. Lemon merangue or key lime pie for dessert. Nothing else needed.

Thank you for doing these reviews! Celebrity chefs like him and Bobby Flay specialize in fresh cuisine. And I just love seeing the irony or how they are just the same as every other chef out here making fast food chains where the food isn’t even that good! Not going to lie when I went to Vegas last year I tried Bobby Flays burgers and Guy Fieri’s chicken place and you would’ve thought the gourmet chef’s fast food would’ve been better… it was the most bland, greasy and artificial burger and fries I’d ever had. Guy Fieri’s chicken place was seriously 11/10 if you guys ever go to Vegas definitely try his fast food place!! It’s in Caesars palace at their food court! Guy Fieri’s was seriously even better than Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in there too😳

Sorry to break it to you Americans, but this isn't a British fish & chips. The chips in this video are nothing like the chips from a traditional chip shop, the fish also comes whole and we wouldn't use tartar sauce instead it usually only Salt and Malt Vinegar with a side of mushy peas or gravy.

What in the world with all those British flags? In the UK you don't really get milkshake at the fish & chips, I've no idea what a creamsicle is, and we call shrimps prawns (unless they are really brown and tiny). Makes sense to cater to an American market, and i love the sound of these American twists, but why wrap everything in a union jack. I bet they don't even sell iron bru.
